Paws is a wonderful organization! They have reached out to me in times of need, always been considerate, consistent and polite. This organization is based on volunteers and love and I saw a comment about someone having the same volunteer for 9 yrs. ( OUTSTANDING!) and not wanting anyone else... Be patient people do need vacations time off and people do move so if someone else shows up, just be grateful that they made it possible for your pet to be walked or whatever service your volunteer provides.
A huge THANKS to the limited staff, Volunteers and the Loving generosity of those who donate to provide food and treats.

Everyone that works and volunteers at the food bank on Saturdays is great. They have always been kind and considerate of us and our pets. Quite often they have gone out of their way to see that my girls have what they need. Prado is the best.

I'm only writing here with one concern and that's your volunteers. I think you should do better orientation and selection of people who want to volunteer for this wonderful organization. As for myself I only want one volunteer, dog walker coming to my home. And that's the person that I currently have had for almost nine years. Bad experiences in the past your volunteers are too opinionated and outspoken. It's been my experience taking advantage of me because I have a hidden disability that they don't understand. Thank you for your time and consideration 😊

A wonderful local non-profit organization that supports San Francisco residents of limited means, who typically are seniors, or have chronic serious medical conditions - in being able to maintain their companion pets. They do this via a pet-food-bank, vouchers for veterinary services, dog washes, etc. as well as mobilizing a large group of local Volunteers, who support PAWS clients via performing many services to assist in taking care of their companion animals.
PAWS was merged into The Shanti Project in late 2015, where it continues to operate in the same way, as one of Shanti's key programs.

PAWS has been there for my dog, U R A Diva and me. PAWS has advocated for me to get U R A Diva back from Animal Care and Control when ACC refused to return my dog, after boarding her while I was taken to the Emergency Room for a suspected heart attack. The whole ordeal at ACC almost cause me to have a real heart attack. PAWS negotiated U R A Diva’s release and provided the means for me to meet the un-necessary conditions I had to fulfill in order to have my Service Dog returned to me.

PAWS services and Food Bank has been nothing less than wonderful. I am a senior ( 72 years of age ) and have multiple disabilities. PAWS makes it possible for U R A Diva and I to live; not just survive. I cannot say enough about the extremely compassionate and common sense attitude of PAWS staff and services. To U R A Diva and me PAWS is our salvation and our rock. PAWS is just the greatest!!!
