Thank you so much to Nineveh ! With out your compassion, generosity and your resources my mom’s cat “Baby” would not be here with us today. Baby was in so much pain because of her stomatitis she was not able to eat and we were going to have to put her down. Since we came into contact with Nineveh she did not give up on my mom and her constant companion “Baby”. Since Nineveh was able to provide and find treatment and ongoing care for “Baby”. Today she has the best quality of life we have seen in years . Truly a statement of care and compassion towards people and their 4 legged loved ones . Thank you 🙏

I'm writing this review because the Palo Alto Humane Society has done so much for me & my furbabies!
I'm a Low Income Disabled Senior, with 2 rescued furbabies. Because vets are so expensive I can't afford to pay for their medical care. About 5-6 yrs.ago I came across an organization called "Street Dogs Coalition", this organization has been so awesome in helping me to care for my fur family. I took them to one of their vet clinics & Dr. Wheeler Referred me to Palo Alto Humane Society, because I couldn't pay for dental work my dogs needed! Palo Alto Humane Society referred me to a vet Clinic that did the Dental care , extractions, and after care for my pups. From beginning to the end ,all of these agencies made me feel comfortable, treated me with dignity & showered my babies with love, compassion, and belly rubs.
For those of you who have Never been down & out, having someone show you kindness & compassion means the world. These organizations are so desperately needed throughout our world.
I thank them for everything they've done for me & my babies. They are a GOD SENT!

This is my public thank you note to Nineveh Parker, the Community Engagement Manager at the Palo Alto Humane Society.
I went online searching for assistance with having my two female dogs spayed. I ended up on PAHS website and filled out an application. I live in Los Altos, in the process of moving, unemployed with kids still at home and an ailing parent to care for- money gone 🙂
I would be moving somewhere there would be male dogs. 2021 we cared for a unplanned litter of puppies, or should I say “poopies.”
They were adorable, but never again…
Nineveh was the person I interacted with during the whole process. She was kind, understanding, patient and supportive. I was feeling overwhelmed, tired and embarrassed to ask for financial assistance. Nineveh did not add to those feelings in any way. There was no judgement in her tone, she was gracious and professional. My girls are spayed and doing well thanks to The Palo Alto Humane Society and Pets in Need, Palo Alto.

My male cat has literally had to have to two emergency surgeries due to a blockage and if it wasn't for them I would not have been able to afford the surgeries that are saving my cats life. I am so thankful and will forever be grateful for their help.
