This is a gem in wake forest. I’m so glad I found this place recently. The staff really engages conversation with you and they are passionate to help. I really enjoy the variety and selection of books. Recently bought wool from the silo series. Can’t wait to read it and head back to buy the next book.

Hands down the best bookstore ever! Very knowledgeable (and FUN!) staff, wide selection of books, incredible book recommendations, tremendous author events, quirky-warm-welcoming atmosphere, and a lot of diverse book clubs! This book store has it all!

Being new in town I was so happy to find this great book store so close to home. I had just planned on popping my head in to look around but ended up getting three books while walking and talking to the two very nice workers. I had a lovely time and the two workers even agreed to help recommend two book for me to get and donate to the free book library box that is outside their store. I cant wait to go back.

Nadia and Gaelan were wonderful customer service reps. They clearly love talking about fantasy and sci-fi books. I was looking for used books but ended up buying a new copy of Dungeon Crawler Carl simply because of the positive experience they provided!

The space was really clean and had a great variety of new books. Best I have personally seen in a while for series I have been interested in. They also serve alcohol and have a cafe to enjoy which makes this a super cozy spot!

I love this place! They offer a great selection of books, cute gifts for book-lovers, and the staff is super helpful and friendly. I have ordered books that weren't in store and they arrive fairly quickly. One time, I ordered a book that was out of print and they shopped around to get me the best price on a gently used copy. They've now expanded to include The Lemon Tree (yum!) and The Knotty Sheep next door, so it's a one-stop-shop for me - especially during the holidays when I'm looking for thoughtful gifts. They also have a ton of events - so many book clubs and author events. I have yet to attend an author event, but I have been to a few different book clubs and the people are great - all in all, it's one of my favorite places in Wake Forest!

Best book store that is always growing in the Wake Forest area. The staff is super friendly and love to get to know you. Their monthly subscription service they do is so much fun. It’s a monthly blind date with a few books they pick out after they get to know you through talking with you.
Just a generally great place to go and shop to find your literary needs. They also take the time and resources to do a lot for local schools. If you’re looking for a new home base to shop small and support local- this is the place.

I stumbled upon this place after walking a bit through downtown Wake Forest. I certainly did not plan on buying anything, I just needed some time to cool off😅. But, Nadia was so engaging and recommended a couple of books based on my interests. I left a happy customer.The place has great energy and definitely deserves a visit!

I just found this treasure in Wake Forest. A great independent book store that has so much to offer. I have purchased a book for an upcoming Author Visit that I am currently reading and also books for two book clubs that I cannot wait to attend. This shop has so much to offer with its literary inventory and Book Bags which are handbags fashioned after classic novels. My Birthday and Christmas shopping just got easier!

I am also looking forward to an Irish Dinner and Music event sponsored by Page 158 Books coming up and I will be bringing an out of town guest to impress with my new town.

I am so glad I found you Page 158 Books! One day, I would like to know the origin of your store name unless it is a highly guarded secret like the Coca Cola recipe!
