Extremely rude people who work there. They ask for social security numbers on the phone lines. They do not listen to what you are saying. Then you state look me up another way. Then she states don't tell me how to do my job. You have to tell them your phone number two times, to miss know it all. Just the rudest.

This review is for the Pacific Asian consortium and employment LIHEAP program that the federal government funds millions of dollars to, the people working at this program are the most incompetent, uncaring, uneducated, and lack the morals and ethics to do a good job for elderly senior people, I put in an application for my mother because they took so long to get to it even admitting that they took too long by sending a letter saying “we will be getting to your applications soon, after three months they sent a letter saying that everything is outdated because it took longer than three months, so basically making a woman in her 90s start all over again and then telling me that I cannot fax documents and application that they have to be brought in in person which is extremely draconian, you cannot process an online application which is also way outdated and I suppose it would just be too much work and might give one of the insufferable employees for this program a headache, come into the 21st-century and 20 2024 please and use your federal funding to help people instead of paying salaries to incompetence

The worst. They’re absolutely siphoning government funds for HEAP. They made me jump through hoops for the energy assistance program. Filling out the application and then downloading and printing out all necessary documents took several days worth of time that I don’t have because I am a full time (24/7/365) caretaker for my elderly parents.

The application clearly states that CalFresh’s verification of benefits qualifies under “common types of income” which I mailed in with my application. I don’t have paystubs because my full time job is elderly care for my parents which I don’t receive paychecks for. I made that clear, and they verified that CalFresh verification is proof of income.

Weeks later, they wrote back telling me that my application for HEAP was denied because of “missing paycheck stubs.” They sent me another stack of application telling me that I have to re-apply and send in all new documents.

Way to steal government funds intended for the people!

Terrible people who offended my family member when we asked them to help us. Loan counselor is a very rude guy who does not listens what people say. He and his female colleague are very unprofessional, unfair people who only think how to make money on clients! They asked a lot about what kinda items we sell and finally said that we must sign a paper that to allow them to grab all items in case of 1 day late. He told next: " We should be sure in how much yours items worth if we'll get them when you'll be unable to pay us back" In other words- he was planning to grab our business stuff and thinking how much he can make. He was sure that will give us a loan only to grab our items as fee for late payment! He only thought how to grab what he saw on our website! And we came to get help to pay for storage! If people ask where to get real help to pay for storage, expert should help with that, not abuse them and demand to allow him to have access to their bank or cash!. He spoke with me in very rude tone. He is very terrible person who offends people instead of help. He did not listened what we said! And he sits in business consulting office! Such guys should be banned from talking with clients. Worksource dev. specialist (aged man) is one who did not listened our complaint and started to defend his colleagues instead of providing service to us. He told us to make job search and look for job, without paying attention on a fact that we have business for more than 12 years. These men only interested in make money on people who needs help! Heartless, rude people and unfair office. I wasted my time on going there.

I spoke with a worker there very helpful with much respect and reached out to him for assistance on a issue at home that has to be repaired and willing to help us .which is so awesome .but the only thing I'm worried about is that once they come over to the house and repair the issue .my wife tells me that we will end up paying them back for the job they did .I really hope it's not one of those programs when you receive home repair they ask for your house title and have to pay back each penny .so I told my wife no they won't do that but I want to ask dies any one know if we have to pay this money back and who pays them for the work and bills the state correct

This office is horrible! Every time you go there you have to make sure you are not to make any other appointments anywhere. You have to spend your whole day over there waiting in line which. They're in public service, and people who works there should be more helpful because whoever goes ther, these are the people in need. But they are totally unfriendly specially there's one lady who always sits on the first window, makes everybody who ever goes to her window miserable. No one ever leaves jeered window happy. I have been there myself three times, never had good experience. I was never been able to finish my job at one trip, even though I take everything they ask for with me, one way or other they will send me home for something else at least twice. I hope these people could change their attitude and be little bit more friendly and helpful.
