My daughter and I had a wonderful time at Otters and Others. Our host (the founder) was super knowledgeable and answered any questions. It’s a new facility, so it’s a work in progress but the vision is there. We loved interacting with the animals and at every enclosure the animals seemed happy to engage with people (on their terms) which makes me believe they are well treated and cared for. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

I absolutely loved coming to this conservation, they are a non profit organization with a mission to help animals who are most endangered. They also have other less endangered animals to educate the public. Overall my experience was well worth the drive to Tooele!
We were given a bucket of food to give to everyone as we walked and got a tour/ education of all the animals in their care. I was very much in awe of the whole experience!
I was mainly listening and taking in everything that she was saying, you can ask as many questions as you’d like. The staff/volunteers are all very friendly and super knowledgeable. They really do care for their animals and I cannot wait for them to grow more! I’m honored to be one of many who get to experience their growth, I will be returning to visit my furry friends, especially Tiny Tim ❤️

Took my kids here and my toddler loved feeding the animals, our tour guide Molly was so sweet and amazing! I was a bit disappointed we didn’t see any otters and also a young blonde girl was a bit rude to our guide and told us we couldn’t get close to enclosures ( which was fine we didn’t ) but after looking at other reviews and seeing several people were extremely close was a bit disappointing and confusing. But none the less Molly made the tour really fun and enjoyable.

We had a great experience at Otters and Others Zoo Conservatory. It's a smaller, newer facility (just a few years old) and still in the process of being built out, but that was part of the charm for us—it’ll be fun to see how it grows over time.

It was absolutely perfect for what we needed: a calm, low-stimulation environment where our disabled son could see animals up close without the crowds or chaos of a larger zoo.

We were guided by the founder herself (we understand that sometimes it’s volunteers), and she was kind, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. She shared fun facts about the animals and made the whole visit educational and engaging. Considering the personalized tour, we think the tickets are very reasonably priced.

As of our visit, there were no otters (they’ve been relocated, but we weren’t sure for how long), so just something to be aware of if you’re specifically going for that.

There’s a nice variety of animals (don’t expect elephants or giraffes — this isn’t a massive zoo), but what they have is thoughtfully cared for and interesting. That said, we did find ourselves wondering about the size of just a couple of the enclosures. The raccoon in particular seemed a bit distressed during our visit. The animals seem well cared for and happy overall though-- we believe as they continue to develop the space, they’ll expand and adjust habitats where needed. Overall, a great experience and one we’d recommend, especially for anyone looking for something quieter and more hands-on. We'll be back!

My wife and I loved the experience. The personalized tour for each animal allowed us to get up close and experience it first hand. We will definitely be going back and can't wait for more animals to arrive!

This zoo is truly a gem. My fiancée and I went on the weekend, but regardless of the day it is by appointment only. This makes for a very pleasant and personal zoo experience as you have you own incredibly knowledgeable guide to show you, and educate you on, all the animals. You get to hand feed most every animal, all of which are very friendly and well mannered. We even got to hold a baby goat. I cannot recommend this zoo enough! It is a local non-profit and they care deeply for the animals they have there. There are also volunteer opportunities to help the zoo and animals!

Such an amazing experience!! Micka was fantastic and gave us cool facts about each animal and allowed us plenty of time with each one. I love raccoons so it was fun to be able to give one a “pup cup”.
