I went here for two-three years. My stepfather was abusive towards me and my mother. My mother turned to the church for help. Their advice? Be a better wife. Their counseling is not front a certified counselor who can be objective, it’s just some random person. I also went to the youth group here for a number of years and was not welcomed. The female leaders and other girls were very cliquish and mean; if I tried to hang out with boys who I got along and played games with I was separated from them because ‘it wasn’t appropriate’. The only good thing about that church was the Hispanic and Korean ministries. The Hispanic ministry was like a second family for me and the Korean ministry welcomed newcomers with open arms.

Kevin and Patrick came to my brother's house to speak about our sister who passed a couple of months ago.
They were beyond compassionate and truly genuine. They learned a lot about our sister and her life in a very short period of time! Their openness did not go unappreciated and unnoticed.
I wish I lived closer to their church for I would surely be there every Sunday!

We have visited two services. The worship was contemporary and well done, without feeling like I was at a rock concert. The pastor's messages were excellent "flyover" of a couple of chapters in Exodus, well applied and presented with quiet confidence and credibility. The people were warm and receiving. Yes, they have coffee, and donuts if you can beat the teenagers to them. But you can't judge a church by its donuts!

I was privileged to have the Lord lead my family to Open Door church many years ago in 2004. The church was very welcoming, caring, and loved Jesus and the word of God. Not only did they hear and give attention to it, BUT most importantly they lived it out. When our family was at our worst THEY were at their best. They took broken lives and slowly and patiently helped bandage our family, hold us together, love us, and most importantly give us the means to grow in a community of faith. Today I'm a Pastor in Massachusetts. Without Open Doors investment in our lives, we would not be together today. I am forever grateful to not only the leaders but the whole church for caring for the least of these. They set up their care groups so that each person is able to care for individuals (1 Corinthians 12).This is a true biblical church that is worth visiting and considering as 1-a place of worship and 2 a place to care for your soul and family.

We went to this church because pastor Armstrong made a comment that if you're looking for a church that knows it all this is not the one.

Unfortunately our second visit pastor Dwayne stated that children when you go to school and your teacher tells you to basically refer to your classmates as what they want to be referred to... IE a boy wants to be referred to as a girl ect.. he stated you are to oppose that and state respectfully I'm a Christian and I can't do that!!!

We are Christians and we believe that God accepts us for who we are and will never ever disrespect a wish asked by another. I believe the world is the way it is today because of people not accepting other people for who they are. God loves and accepts us as who we are who we identify as no matter the pronoun.
We immediately got up and left as he mentioned Christians and Democrats!! No political party should be talked about in church.

This was extremely upsetting for our family and we pray that God opens pastor Dwayes to the reality that God loves us all no matter.

Galatians 3:28 there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Acts 10:28 but God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

We love their preschool! My daughter has attended here the past 3 years and we have loved it so much I've started my son here too, even though we moved up to Rolesville we still commute down to it. Wonderful staff that remembers our names and really keeps us informed of everything we need and want to know. Cute activities and programs, and by far the most affordable in the area!

I love this church and how the pastors here take such care in preaching God's Word. It's a great place to come and learn about Jesus Christ and what it means to have a personal relationship with Him. If you don't know about Jesus, come and find out and ask questions.
