Employees are unbelievably rude. They act like they're doing you a favor and not getting paid for it. This organization is funded by taxpayer dollars but when you go in and ask for a service you know they provide they give you a hard time about it. It looks like they don't want to have anyone sign up for any of their activities. If you call and speak to someone make sure you ask who you're talking to. If you're speaking to the volunteer she will give you wrong information (and she's a great actress because she acts like she's 100% sure) and when you drive all the way there in 105° heat - she will say that she "did not say that." I had to get my father there in a wheelchair, which is a lot of work and effort on my part and his. They didn't care one bit. They are very inconsiderate, amazing to see that level of holery for an organization that is supposed to work with seniors. If you call & speak to someone, ask for the person's name. Elaine is another rude info denier. Yikes, better to just bounce around from person to person on the phone and get the information from at least two different people before you believe it. Good luck!

They have been closed for way way way too long. My needs & other senior's needs are still in play. But the door is shut. They can't even say when they will reopen.
I wish they'd be more informative.
After several attempts, I totally gave up on rides. They have provided many, but never to me. At 72, I hoped for more. I am taking an accent course. I will try again upon graduation.

Pretty good senior hang out with some limitations

Good for a lot of senior stuff if you like cards, bingo, ukulele classes & knitting/crocheting classes. If you are a more modern senior & don’t like the stereotypical senior activities (like me) this place feels a little weird. There are just a few senior cardio classes that are ok. Nevertheless, it serves me well for social contact & certainly beats sitting at home lonely & alone.

Vons donates food which they sell very cheaply here but beware— the food is always expired and sometimes spoiled and moldy. Food bank delivers free food boxes once a month but the food is mostly unhealthy. I don’t understand why they donate useless, unhealthy, spoiled food...?

Closed on weekends...? Don’t seniors need to have a place to go on weekends?
