What is the use of having a wildlife center when it is open only for a fraction of the time? Are animals and birds supposed to make sure they are only injured between 12 30 to 4 30 pm Tue to Sat? Every single time I call this place they are out. Zero help received.

Dropped a bird today that my neighbor had found injured. The staff was so helpful in guiding me through the process and it was quick. The volunteers at this location are motivated to help the animals and birds in need of help. We need to do more to ensure such organizations are funded and supported by the people of Fremont and the local community.

Took in an injured Opossum,who died in route,was determined to have been hit by car had broken leg and head trauma. They were very nice and took care of it properly. A worthy facility much needed here locally and worthy of donations if you care about helping injured wildlife

Dropped off a baby bird who couldn’t fly and they took it in and felt great that the bird is in great hands. Such a great facility , was happy to donate after and recommend anyone to donate to their great cause.

Super caring and helpful! We brought in a female squirrel that was attacked by a cat on my porch. Kelly? I think. She returned my voicemail before she left the center, answered all my questions, and brought her home that night and next day. I knew she would call me as soon as she knew if we could return her to her family or otherwise. Sure enough, I pick up the phone a couple days later to checkin... and it rings!
Unfortunately, our lil girl squirrel passed the night before. But after our conversation I now know exactly how to respond to my hummingbirds and squirrels in the yard if injured in anyway, especially with spring around the corner. Thank you! My husband will be donating to help the cause!
**No SUGAR water for any wildlife injured at all!**
BTW... She was less than a foot away from safety. From now on, I'm sticking with higher ground, JIC!

Found a baby owl and turned him in. Kelly, the vet, who took him in was very friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help and educate me on wild life. I know they will take good Care of him. Location I went to was in Newark. Working and open during COVID as of July 8, 2020.

I found a baby Possum Maybe less then a month old and I called Ohlone Humane Society and a volunteer came out to my office and picked him up. The guy knew is stuff on Possum's I was very impressed! I am happy the little fella is in GOOD...No make that GREAT Hands!
