The staff who care for my mom on a daily basis are exceptional. Annie and her team really care about the residents. The Concierge desk especially Desiree are so great. They are warm and engaging and always make me feel good when I enter the building. I am so grateful that my mother is living here!

I want to take this moment to thank the entire staff at The Oakmont of Burlingame. They are all truly angels. Excellent caregivers and professionals.
My aunt came to live there at the Memory Care Residence early this year. Immediately she was welcomed into the community and thrived based on their attention, care & love, including many activities to keep her engaged.
Annie Walker and her team were always happy, caring & enthusiastic. Annie made it a point to contact me with any concerns regarding my aunt, as well as sharing the many good times with photos & videos at times when I wasn’t able to be there.
Annie’s team are angels and I especially remember Amy, Ruth & Johnny. Thank you for your loving attention my aunt received.
I also want to give big love to Desiree and Danica at the concierge desk for their ever welcoming and warm greetings in person and on the phone. Again, thank you all!

Placing our mother in a Memory Care facility was a very scary experience, but the staff made our transition comforting. Over time, we were assured it was the right fit. We appreciate Joanne (Annie) Walker's 24/7 attentiveness. My mom has been at Sunrise/Oakmont for over 8 years. In fact, she was one of the first residents of this community. I want to take a moment and talk about the staff. They are truly angels, my mom suffers from dementia, and no longer knows who I am but the staff at Oakmont, most importantly, Annie, and her team on the memory care floors take incredible care of her. We honestly do not know what we would do without Annie and her team. We have seen a lot of changes in staff, but one thing that has been a constant in my mother‘s life is Annie and her team and our hope is that this incredible group of people remain at Oakmont. They truly are a blessing. And we are so grateful.

A major shoutout to Director of Memory Care Joannie Walker (known to us as Annie) and her amazing 3rd floor care team at Oakmont of Burlingame!!! They are the BEST. Annie and her team have been, and continue to be, so loving, caring, and skillful in their care and attention of my mom. I do not know how we would have made the transition without Annie (and her team) or how we would manage through the day to day of having a loved one with dementia. My family is so, so grateful for all Annie and her team do to make my mom’s world better, the fun and up beat spirit they exude with the residents, and how welcoming Annie and her team make us feel when we visit. Annie is the glue and the leader that makes it all work. Her incredible care team is a direct reflection of her amazing leadership. They make a tough experience more than just something to survive. They actually make it filled with fun moments and some quality of life and joy still for my mom!! Priceless. Rather than dreading to visit, I look forward to coming to see my mom and the amazing team. Thank you Annie and thank you to your care team. WE ARE GRATEFUL!!! Moved my 86 year old dad in about 4 months ago. All staff from caregivers, med techs, to front desk have been amazing. So friendly, easy to communicate with and most importantly my dad is happy and very well cared for. My kids enjoy visiting daily.

Loving and caring staff...my mom had a much easier time moving in here than we expected! Staff is hardworking, fun, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do and like working here. Expect to be welcomed in by name and made to feel at home once your loved one moves in - you gain an instant family.
