As part of a disaster relief deployment, I stayed in the chamber of commerce building for boarding. I'm giving four stars because it offered a roof over my head during the deployment. As a civic building, it has everything you need to sponsor an event besides a shower. The building is modest, and quite outdated, as much of the neighborhood. I wouldn't expect anything different. Hopefully the city will be able to afford a grant that can help upgrade the place, along with the city. The residents deserve the qualities of a bigger city.

Thank you to the residents, the Chamber, and the local fire department for making our stay worth while.

Too much inner-turmoil, attitude and positioning among its BOD. The town is dying and they are not helping. They are NOT Slab City friendly! I hope they change my mind... We shall see!
