I can’t express in words what is truly in my heart in regards to Nexus Recovery Services.
Mental illness /Substance Abuse Disorder doesn’t just affect the person with the disease but the whole family. Nexus Recovery Services has been extremely effective with the type of treatment they provide for their clients. They give a very high level of care driven by self-less LOVE. Their experienced staff genuinely cares for the well being, healing, and recovery of all of their clients and it shows in their everyday interaction with the clients, their families and each other.
They treat everyone with love and respect in an environment that is safe, non -judgmental, forgiving, and loving. They are a family and include YOU in that family and make you feel wanted, valued, and loved. After one year of treatment, my son is in a very stable and joyful place and so is our family thanks to Nexus.

Nexus has taught our son many skills and given him the tools needed to live a sober and successful life. He now has more self-esteem with much hope for a brighter future. Johnnie and Melissa are wonderful!
Recovery is possible with Nexus Recovery Services. They never give up on the clients even if the clients give up on themselves.
My son has formed a bond with everyone at Nexus which has instilled many lasting friendships for years to come.

Nexus is awesome! Staff is so caring and kind and truly cares about clients and their success. I went here for 6 months and in that time learned more about myself than I ever have before. Their approach to treatment is unlike any other place around and is the reason why I have been successful in my sobriety today. Most treatment centers are solely focused on financial gain and put clients second. Nexus is far from that and puts their clients as a number one priority. Nothing but love for the people at Nexus!

During his time at Nexus, our son gained so much knowledge, clarity and strength to learn how to manage his addiction.
As a parent, it was so reassuring to know that our son was in a place where the staff that were managing his care and the entire program, knew how to implement effective treatment strategies and also show love, compassion, and support.

Because we wanted to be confident about the treatment program and the people we were entrusting our son with, we did a fair amount of research before we chose Nexus. There are plenty of places that will take your money, but a very few places that will provide quality treatment, in inspiring surroundings, with people that know what they are doing and really care about the people that need their help.

I give my son plenty of credit for the work that he put in, but he would not have known how to reach the place he is now, without the support and guidance he got at Nexus. I will be forever grateful to all of the people there that helped him get his life back.

When my 19 year old son completed residential treatment I began the search for an outpatient program that could supplement his sober living. From the very first phone call to Nexus I knew we had found the right place. The initial contact was loving, warm, and encouraging which was exactly what I needed in those early days of his sobriety.

Over the course of his seven months at Nexus those same traits from that first phone call grew and worked magic on my son. I can’t know what happened daily or even weekly at Nexus, but I know the changes I saw in my son. The young man he was destined to be was awakened and nurtured by Nexus. They kept me informed along the way and I was able to participate in a wonderful family program weekend.

Today my son is in college and living a productive life. We both credit Nexus for providing him the space, support, insight and love he needed to move into this next chapter. I am forever grateful to the staff at Nexus.

Nexus recovery services outpatient program is by far the best I’ve ever been to. Fighting addiction for the past 12 years I have been to a lot of intensive outpatient programs over the years and had a variety of experiences but none of them provided the level of comfort, care, and accountability that nexus did for me. All of the staff and clinical team are hardworking, passionate people who are almost all in recovery and provide such a warm experience to their clients. The one on one therapy sessions combined with the varied group topic discussions and field trips provided an experience for me that gave me a foundation to kickstart my journey in recovery that I am forever grateful for. I frequent nexus on a regular basis still to this day because I was given a new family there. I am forever grateful for nexus and harbor sober living will consider everyone there friends and family for the rest of my life.

I don't even know how to "review" Nexus. What they have given to me I cant even put into words. I was at a place where I had no faith that I could be helped from what I was suffering from. They met me with a genuine love and care that I had only seen and felt from my family. Nexus is so different from every other treatment program in a way where I wasn't just viewed as a "client" but as a human being, and I was a part of their family. The staff is so professional and intelligent yet they create an environment that is so comfortable and relaxed. I was taught what I was dealing with in my addiction and was given a safe space to be vulnerable and open up to really have a dialogue and get an understanding on addiction. This place saved my life, I cant express how truly grateful and just blessed that I found them. They are still actively a part of my life and I don't think that will ever change. If you need help, everyone at Nexus wants to give it to you, they are amazing people and have created a special thing there that I hope keeps growing, because they have something that is very rare in this world today, they genuinely care.

Nexus is an excellent program with a well qualified and compassionate staff, many of whom are in recovery themselves and as such have great insight into what it takes to recover from alcoholism and drug addiction. I have been to plenty of excellent rehabs but I think my experience at nexus was one of the best I’ve had. Coming up on one year sober I have to express my gratitude to nexus and the people there for all they have done for me on this path. I would highly recommend this program to anyone concerned with a drinking or drug problem

Nexus is not like any of the other outpatients in Los Angeles. They only care about saving your life, not money. Which is rare these days in the treatment world. I worked in treatment for 6 years, relapsed at 8 years and spent 4 years in and out of treatment centers. If I wasn’t in treatment I was on the streets. In that four years I went to treatment over 80 times and out of all of them nexus was by far the best. They showed up for me daily with love, kindness and a drive to help me get through whatever I faced in early recovery. I would recommend this place to literally anyone that asks for help.
