Really? They call and ask a father how your disabled daughter feels and works her routine? Is this a department of health or wealth?

Very bad business done here since last 6 months, fraudsters are common and criminals hang around to steal budgeted tax dollars for socially marginalized people’s help, good bless our families from this people

I wish I can give less than one star this place is horrible! The people who get paid to answer the phone are very rude and not helpful at all and they just hang up on you! Very unprofessional you have to block your number just to get them to answer you after they hang up on you And then they refuse to give you a supervisor when you ask for one. They either hang up on you or play like they don't know who to transfer you to.

Citizens, our lives are at stake. I've worked since age 14. Served honorably in military. We have a mortgage over $1300. Utilities average $450 per month. I lost my job in February. I have been homeschooling our son that has struggled to fit in every since we moved to NC. I applied for food stamps in Nash county. I received a call from them today and was told we qualify for $1.00 per month in assistance. 4 quarters. Only in America. I am at a lost for words. I know their are requirements and thresholds but the system is NOT designed to help those in need. It is designed as a crutch. Be blessed. God got us. No thank you Nash County Department of Social Services . Keep your 4 quarters.

This place is horrible!!! Horrible customer service!! I’ve sent in my information several times, in the method they told me to, and they keep denying my application for benefits stating that I have not sent my information in. My emails, phone calls and voicemails are ignored. Whenever I call and explain the situation, I am met with rudeness and unprofessional conversation. I have never had so many issues getting Food and Nutrition benefits in my LIFE. I am so glad I don’t have kids because they would have starved by now! I understand this is a government agency but still this is just downright bad service!

Someone there incorrectly entered my child’s birthday and is calling a windfall of issues with insurance and pharmacies. So I try to call and have them fix it 🙂 hahaha and the phone just rings and rings and rings and hangs up …. So there’s no way to fix this as you can imagine there’s no email or other form of contact except a fax number. So now I have to take a day off to go searching for someone there to fix a mistake THEY made. Why have a number if no one is going to answer that’s ridiculous
