I am so grateful and so impressed with this place. I was facing being homeless and it’s right when my caseworker called me and said they had an apartment ready for me. The staff here is amazing. Everyone that works here literally cares about all of us here, it shows. Shannon that works as a Support Specialist is just amazing. She goes the extra mile time and time again for myself and for so many other people. She deserves an award for just being so special and awesome. Shane is my caseworker and he is so easy to talk to and helpful and resourceful. There is so much offered here that I can’t even list it all. Transportation, therapists, games, food donations, brunch, Holiday Dinners, there are always bright colorful fliers on our doors, it’s something to look forward to every day. I have never known any type of community that does so many amazing things for their tenants. Truly a blessing.

I am just completely disgusted by the fact that there is really no help for veterans. Many have worked hard trying to make something out of their lives and may need housing. It's terrible that if you finally get a good paying job, there is literally even less of the no help. How is it that I can put my life on the line to only be told that I make too much (like not knowing where I will be able to rest my head at night with housing insecurity). If I am unable to obtain housing, how can I maintain employment? I am completely undone by all of this. It was a waste of my time and energy to even talk to these people. Thank you for false hope🤦🏾‍♂️

A great place to not go homeless and protect yourself and use the assets given to us after service. But unfortunately there is complacency, lack of leadership and a lack of control in this place due to their mission statement. They are a bit of enablers because people here sell drugs to each other and we're still doing drugs. I myself had a roommate I had to deal with reoccurringly who broke the rules that were one-time strikes. They tend to put a lot of rules and stipulations in place, but they have a lack of accountability that they can hold onto themselves and others. My roommate was consistently and habitually doing drugs after providing proof and being confronted directly by a staff member. This place is great for not going homeless, but at the same time enables people to continue their habits. A friend of mine passed away after getting a place from overdose in the apartments in the facility because of the said roommate

It saved me from being homeless on the street. If you're a veteran facing homelessness come here and they should be able to give you a stable place to stay while you get back on your feet
