They are a city building and they do not separate their recycling, trash and compostables. They put everything in one bag. Every city building should be leading the way if they want the people of Napa to follow the system they have set up.

5 stars to the staff, but .... I went to apply for a permit in person, traffic was rugged and I spent well over an hour driving. I arrived during posted business hours to be informed that no staff were available to accept my application. Counter staff seemed sympathetic and understanding but management has failed to give them the tools they need to do their job. Given Bay area traffic and now Covid, I don't understand why the city hasn't adopted contactless permit submital as so many other communities have. I sympathize with staff, every submital involves face to face contact and the exchange of documents. City Council needs to properly fund their buding department, imement contactless online submital, reduce traffic, paper waste and covid transmission risk to employees and customers alike. If there was another game in town, I'd be shopping there.
