Mt. View Co-op Preschool is an amazing school to be apart of! Mrs. Workman is fantastic and makes the kids feel so loved and comfortable at school. The classroom environment is fun and welcoming and kept very clean at all times. It is a play-based preschool with some focus on valuable routines that help kids get ready for kindergarten. Being in the classroom as a “working parent” is a really fun experience (for both you and your child) and helps you make friends in the community with kids the same age! This will be our 3rd year at the preschool and I would highly recommend it!

Perhaps most importantly, my daughter loves going to preschool and has been coming here since she was 2 years old.

The commitment to work in the classroom is about once every 1-2 weeks for about 3 hours. Honestly if that works schedule wise, I cannot think of a better place for a child to be for their early years.

Mrs. Workman does an excellent job engaging with the kids, not only teaching them academic skills but also showing them social skills - how to play together, consider other people's feelings, and take turns. The stations (art, science, building, puzzles, etc) provide so many things to do that my child is always engaged.

The cherry on top is that tuition is affordable as a non profit. The money spent is obviously worth it for a quality education, but I appreciate that this place doesn't try to turn a profit and focuses on what's important at the end of the day: the kids.

We enrolled my 2 year old son in the 2's class this year. As a stay at home mom I was craving some structure in our week-but not yet ready to send him to day care or anything with long hours.I wanted to find a program to enrich our week, and I was hoping to meet other parents as we are not originally from the area. Mt View Co-op gave us so much more than that. My son has THRIVED going to "school' and I have loved being involved in the classroom with him. Mrs. Workman is amazing. the kids love her, and I (a bit of a helicopter parent at time) have complete trust in her. She lets the kids adapt to the classroom at their own pace, and the learning is very much play based and focused on socialization- more academics come as they move into the 3's and Pre-K classes. My son has made many friends, and so have I. He is always excited to go to "school" and is much more confident now. He has gained great social skills, and basic classroom skills (walking in line, sitting at circle, etc.) We now have a great little village of other families that have turned into friends through chatting in the hallways, play dates, birthday parties, etc. We couldn't be happier with our experience at MV Co-op and are looking forward to the 3's class next year!

I wish I could give this preschool more stars. We have had the best experience with this preschool. Mrs. Workman is an amazing teacher and cares so much about the kids. As a co-op, we get to be involved in our kid's education and the tuition is very reasonable.

I was very nervous for my oldest to start a preschool where I would not be involved, until we found Mountainview co-op preschool. Mrs. Workman is brilliant with the kiddos she teaches and I love having days to be hands on in the classroom with my son and his friends.

All three of my children have gone through Mt. View Co-Op and it has been such a positive experience! I love the Co-Op model because I get to work in the classroom and watch my kids learn and grow. I also get to make friends with other parents who are like-minded when it comes to our kids' education. It's a really fun environment and my kids have loved it!

We’ve been members of this pre-school going on 3 years!

It’s a great environment with a caring, attentive teacher who really goes the extra mile to make sure your child is taken care of, and getting the best experience possible.

Currently, our oldest is a part of the school and we plan on having our second child attend as well, when he is old enough!
