My daughter has been going to this school and it’s summer camp for the past 6 years and I must say this place is AWESOME! She LOVES it! Everyone who works at Mountainside genuinely has a heart for kids. They are all about making the kids happy and guiding them in the right direction. Summer Camp is full of non-stop activities such as swimming, horseback riding, crafts, and so much more. It’s the perfect and safe place to have your child during the summer. I highly recommended!!!

My daughter has been going to Mountainside Ministries for 3 years now. She started off in the TK program as my wife and I were trying to find affordable childcare. Not only were we getting a great deal on childcare , but this school bases their teachings on a Christian basis. My daughter is now attending Kindergarten at Mountain Ministries, and there are no future plans to relocate her to another school. The staff is like family and they are all awesome! If you're looking for an affordable Christian school or childcare program, I highly recommend Mountain Ministries.

Mountainside Ministries Summer Camp has been an absolute gem for our family for the past eight years! Both of my kids count down the days until they can go back every year. Not only is the staff incredible with the kids, they are God centered and have absolutely beautiful hearts. I have trusted them with my babies since they were five. They watch over them like they are their own, and although the summer camp grows exponentially every year, they keep it well organized and structured.

This summer camp is the real summer experience that every child dreams of! Every day is different, and they get to experience not only a breathtaking pool with waterfalls and caves, they get to ride horseback, play airsoft, have cooking lessons, do art projects, drive go carts, and play games and sports all day. This camp is so creative in everything they do.

If you are looking for a place to send your kids for the summer (younger or older), I would recommend Mountainside Ministries over any other!

"This school is special in that it has a group of staff that have been committed to teaching children for over 20 years on a very minimal income so that parents can afford to keep their children in a wholesome environment. That is love! The same staff works in the church areas on week ends and special events to provide the same wholesome environment for children from the surrounding community and church families, to teach Bible truths and meet their physical and emotional needs with a great variety of activities. Very well balanced! The messages that you hear at Mountainside will challenge your life. They are never taken from another source, but are fresh and revealing and can be applied to everyday living. I always leave being challenged and refreshed at the same time!" All of my children began and graduated from this school and has given them all a great foundation both academically, spiritually and for life in general!

My daughter enjoyed there summer program. She really loved the horses. The only issue I ran into was when calling the main office no one could get ahold of the counselors or even know what was going on with my daughter when I had to pick her up early. Other than that we enjoyed it. The counselors respond quickly to emails which was nice.

This my daughter’s second year going into Kindergarten, and she loves it. She’s learning phonics through the Christian ACE program instead of the common core that a lot of public schools teach students. At first I thought it was too long for her to stay 8-3 pm but she just loves her teachers, classmates and all the activities she gets to do in class. They pray, play, have water splash, horse back riding and have music class. It’s a great schooland very affordable. I really hope both daughters attend all the way to their 12 th grade in High School.

Mountainside Ministries is awesome!!! Summer Camp and Horse Camp brought alot of children from the community. This is a church where kids get to experience Jesus in a wonderful way...Bible studies, horseback riding, double rock slide pool, petting zoo and the mechanical mule, that takes the kids up and down the mountain. I was amazed to see that the rock slide pool, with all its wading pools could accommodate so many children. It was great hearing their comments as I was "life guarding," I over heard the excitement of kids saying, " This is the best summer camp ever!!!"
Parents were grateful too, commenting that they had no trouble getting their kids to bedtime, after an activity fun filled day. Woot! Woot!

This school is not for everyone. If you are not interested in a quality education and solid Bible morals for your children, it would be better you put your students in public school. My wife and I are proud to say that this school helped us to raise two very fine young men that went on to college and landing a job close to $100,000/yr. We heard some complaining about this school, but know by experience that these complainers were not sold on Bible morals and quality academics. They blamed the school for their lack of discipline over their children's poor behavior and academic achievement. It you are a parent that believes in discipline and the need for your child to get a quality education, then you will love this school.
