I came in a Saturday to volunteer here. We put together food boxes for those in need. Jim is the guy behind all this. He did a prayer before we started. I was on produce loading boxes in an assembly line type deal. I loved doing this. If you come to volunteer here being comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

My family has received food boxes from here lately, and we could not be more thankful! They give a lot of fresh fruits and veggies, as well as frozen fruits. We've received meats and pantry items too. They help so many families, it's just incredible to see! Thanks be to God, the church, the donors and all of the volunteers!! ? ? ?

You're given a different variety each time, and everything seems in good condition. (Check, though - got a salad that was pretty far gone, once).
Only downside is, if you're REALLY struggling.. sitting in line for 30+ minutes with your car running sucks. Burns through gas, y'know?
