Staying at the Motel 6 South location has been great. Stephanie has been especially helpful as I acclimate to the Springfield area. Considering this motel is half the price of anything else in the area, it's not bad. Rooms are small, but with updated finishes and are decently clean. Heater works well, despite the gaps in the exterior door. The exterior could use some work, and the hot water was more warm than hot. I would give it 4 stars if they fixed the water.

I needed a room at the last minute and Motel 6 was right off the exit from I-5. It's the middle of winter, there was a snow flurry that morning, and the heater in the room was set to 76°, yet it was blowing cold air. Thinking I would take a shower to warm up, i started the shower, and it never got warm after running it for over 10 minutes. After all my attempts, i gave up and decided to try to cozy in the bed to warm up. Well, didn't even get to watch tv because there was no reception and no Internet.² and the bed was cold. The bed had no comforter just, layers of sheets, it's worth paying the extra, and driving the extra, to stay anywhere else than here.

It was meh. We didn't really need help at the front desk so the two interactions that I had (checking and checking out) were pleasant. Room itself made me feel like I was smoking cigarettes - it was BAD. It was cold at night so when we turned on the heater, the entire room got caked with dust and dirt from the amount of stuff in the heater. If you have allergies, DO NOT STAY HERE. Also, this motel is directly off of I-5, so if you do brave the rooms, bring earplugs!

Just stayed there for a week and a half and it was a complete nightmare from beginning to the end. First off, the room wasn't clean. There was mold everywhere and I ended up with a sinus infection. The bed was terrible. I've thrown away more comfortable beds to be honest. There was also constant drug traffic through the parking lot around the clock. I was awakened several nights by people digging through the trash cans right outside my room at 1, 2, and 3:30 in the morning on several occasions. Then I went to bed one night to be awakened by water running. I got up around 11 p.m. to find water pouring down the inside of the bathroom wall in the corner behind the toilet. When I turned the light on the exhaust fan beside the toilet had water in it and it was spitting water out of the vent. The floor was flooded behind the toilet and had flooded all the way to the nightstand by the bed. The floor behind the bed was flooded. I told the person at the desk and he came to the room and looked at it then ran upstairs. He came back and told me that the guests that had been in the room prior had clogged the toilet and said nothing about it and the current guests that were in the room overflowed the toilet. The person at the desk told me that they had no rooms available to move me to and that I would be getting a substantial discount. I was also told that I could have left and been refunded but who wants to pack up and leave and go elsewhere at 11 p.m.? So I stayed and had to clean up the mess myself. Nobody even offered to clean it. Then I walked my dog and it was attacked by another guest's dog that wasn't on a leash 2 nights before my checkout. I contacted guest relations and they contacted the general manager. And the manager refunded a whole $30. This place is an absolute dump! And it will be my last stay there. I'm very disappointed in the manner that this place is run and managed. It's like nobody cares at all about the place. And I chose that location because it was convenient but it seriously wasn't very convenient at all. And they have the nerve to post a now hiring sign out front.

I had a wonderful day here at Motel 6 off of I five Eugene South, got extra pillows and an extra chair for a friend. Usually, hotels don’t have extra chairs; that was real nice. I highly recommend coming back to this Motel 6 on my next vacation.

I had a problem with the heat and the door leaking cold air through the seal. The hotel
manager Stephanie P. and the guest relations manager Angelna A. where extremely
helpful in rectifying my concerns and providing discounts to my bill. In addition they
both where very helpful in giving me a coupon for a free night at any Motel 6. I live in Eugene and frequently stay at the Motel 6 in Dania Beach, FL.
