Monterey Park Hospital has been wonderful with my father in law when he was in the hospital. He was having surgery on his right foot and toes it was a successful surgery thank the doctors and nurses and the staff of Monterey Park Hospital.

My visit was 2.5 hrs quick staff friendly security guard as well.dr.Will8ams very kind and informative made order fir me to get a shot Norco pill ultra sound and CT scann.friendly and made me feel important.ct scan tech Tom was so kind and made me laugh caring and takes pride in his work and my nurse Revecca V.excellent.multi tasking and caring.all in all 3rd time in e.r. and always positive and professional care I received..Thank you.

Overall service experience was subpar, to say the least. Their facilities and safety is sub par. The staff did not attend to my family member for well over an hour even though she was rushed to them via ambulance. Their communication was terrible, and no information was given for over an hour and a half. Oh, also to add to all that they couldn't even give my family member a simple blanket while she was waiting to be attended to.

The staff was okay, but the doctor was cold and downright made me feel like my concerns and issues were invalid. As soon as you tell a doctor autism, they assume it’s anxiety. I won’t disclose what I came in for, but I will say I was not happy with my experience.

So furious, Took my daughter for back pain they said she fractured her tail bone only did xrays didn’t check any part of her body, and send her to children’s hospital. Children Hospital said it was a Cyst while taking a look at the area she pointed that hurt….how is Monterey Park Hospital still up and running, she didn’t get pain medicine after 4 hours she didn’t get offered a bed to lay down but had her sit on a hard chair still we asked for a bed due to her pain!

My son was denied his pain medication at 7:30 am on 07/06/24 nurse told him he wouldn’t get it until 11 o’clock because they were shorts staff. Then when he called me, she refused to go back in to his room after gas lighting him , so she then called Security security officer was drunk and smelled like Alcohol and we filmed When asked why he was in the room he said so he could be in my son instructed him it was a patient and nurse issue about medication and he get to ask the nurse about what medication she gets gets to talking to Marco the security guard About my son’s medication and why she’s not coming back in to give it to him , Marcos tell my son to calm down my son told no his pain is a 10 he was supposed to get his tramadol told my son to stop talking to Marco. He is not Medical and she shouldn’t have been talking to Marco about his. The nurse Martha shouldn’t have been talking to Security about my sons chart I called the charge who told me she would call the nurse that was at 7:44 at 8:10. I called her back and she said she was making rounds. I said I asked you to go into room 309 and find out why your nurses refusing to give my son, his pain med And she hung up on me. My son called back at 8:30 and said he got his payment by that time. It was late because he should’ve received it at 8:15 The whole hospital is unprofessional. The bad part is the transportation people were talking about how unprofessional this hospital is and how they don’t like giving meds or touching the patient. if this is true, and the transportation, people know it Honda hell do you CEO don’t know How in the hell do they administration don’t know’l patient been sitting in bed, soak linen since surgery September 4 nurse was asked to change linen on September 5. Nurse was done again asked to change linen on September 6. It is now Saturday, September 7 sheets have not been changed. Nurse did not come in on September 6 on her shift from 7 to 7 to check on patient

The worst hospital.

The emergency room staff, in particular, were inattentive to patients' needs and created an environment that was not conducive to treating sick patients with their loud chatter and laughter.

They're too formal and ask useless questions repeatedly. For example, I was asked the same questions multiple times by different people: name, birthday, address, height, weight, etc.
I don't understand why they don't share the patient's information and data among the staff.

They were unfriendly to patients and would not provide information when asked about test results. I spent eight hours in the cold ER without being offered a sip of water when I was thirsty and asked for one. It was not as if I could not drink water for the tests. The overall experience was unpleasant and made me feel like I was in a prison camp rather than a medical facility. The ER staff, especially the short Middle Eastern doctor, was extremely rude.
