This is such a Beautiful Shelter! Loving Caring Staff and Pets looking and waiting for their New Families.
They also have Excellent Meeting Rooms to enjoy time with your new puppy, dog. Kitten or Cat. A Wonderful Place to Volunteer as well.

I absolutely love this place and so does my dog, Rugar. We have been boarding him there for the past 3-4 yrs, I also adopted my cat Fred from here and it was a good experience. My mom got to adopt Danger this year - thank you Mondak for all you do!

I'm a local and will never support this rescue. I commented on one of their posts this morning about some pups found on the side of the road and I commented these are the pups from Wolf Point that someone found on the side of the road. Well my comment was deleted instantly and I was BLOCKED. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Mondak posted a follow up on my review and it's all false information. My comment was deleted and I was BLOCKED as I have witnesses who all witnessed this . Yes Lisa did private message me on messenger and made up some excuse on why I was not blocked. Yes I told her not to contact me anymore as I was so upset and didn't want to say anymore on this incident. After that they unblocked me so weird right? Plus on another occasion before this I did contact Mondak to share a post for me to help locate the owners of an older dog I had found and never heard from them at all to help me find the owners. So I shared my picture of the Dog on every site to find the owners and thanks to the community not MDAR found the owner. It was an older dog that was partially blind and couldn't hear. MDAR posted other lost animals on their site that day but just not mine. As for you claiming I've never seen your animal shelter before yes I have as I've adopted a cat from you I named her Belle a Russian Blue cat who has passed away due to health issues. Also spent one of my Birthdays visiting your shelter pets because that's what i wanted to do and my wish was for them all to be adopted into forever loving homes. This is my truth on this matter.

Kittens.. Kittens.. and more KITTENS! I have been following the Mondak Animal Rescue page since they opened their doors in Williston and I have never seen this many kittens and cats being sheltered. The staff has been doing an outstanding job caring for them. From bottle feeding every hour for weeks on end to giving them unconditional love. It takes a pretty special person to nurture and be the mom of any animal, especially when sick or removed from momma before it’s time! Tamara, Tammy and their outstanding staff have my upmost respect and admiration.
If you are looking for a live long furry companion, I strongly encourage and recommend reaching out to them! ADOPT ADOPT!!! You’ll be glad you did - MZ

Beautiful facility with beautiful people! The people that work and volunteer with MDAR are all amazing! We adopted our girl April early this year and just recently adopted Simon. Before adopting we would board our Australian Shepherd, Gunner, with them and have him groomed as well. MDAR offers everything a pet owner/pet lover needs and wants!

An awesome shelter with very patient and friendly people. I was able to adopt my forever baby Solo, a very sweet cat with lots of energy. If anyone's looking for a forever pet you should come here just fill out an application online and follow up on it. The staff there are lovely.

Best rescue out there! I back them 100% they go above and beyond for not only the pets in their care but also go above and beyond with the community. They help so many people. Plus they are the only rescue that I know of that offers dog training to the public. Huge bonus!!
