I really don't see this place caring about its members if they just want to yell at everyone instead of helping them, I would give zero stars if I could. They're going to have a death on their hands for not properly helping their members with their medications and that's when they'll actually start caring for once; Again, zero stars if I could. They have quite a set of balls on them for misplacing medication that could mean the difference between the life and death of their members and then screaming at them and claiming they care about them.

Homeless dad and son turned away because my son is a minor. So there's no shelter available in Modesto that allows dad's with kids? What This message was responded to by the mission owner. I was told to simplyreach out and they can help. Reach out! I went to the mission and asked for help. The security guard told me that my son couldn't even be there at all. Was I supposed to argue and set him straight? I'll try that next time a towering man with a badge gives me info I don't like, and see how well that goes over. I suppose ill try again because being homeless is one thing, throw in a kid and it's a complete nightmare.

I found this as the only place in Modesto that will take your gently used clothing to give for free to those in need. I know I was in need before and it feels so great to be able to find a place that gives to our community. There is no shame to find used clothing or shelter for families. Be in God's grace that those who gave so you can have something was done in love. May God blanket all the staff, volunteers, donors and everyone who part took in giving. Make kids involved so they can see how blessed they are and the need for helping others without acknowledgment. Example of things you can donate in pictures, but please donate nonstained, smelly, ripped clothing and try and wash them would be helpful. They are open after hours for drop-offs.

Gospel mission is a religion based place that if you don't have a place to live you cannot be there in the daytime but they do give you a warm bed to sleep in at night and they will feed you dinner and a you breakfast at that point in my life I was very grateful for just that although they do have a rehabilitation center that I'm not sure what the rules are on that but they do have a rehabilitation center for anybody who is interested

This place helps those who need it most. Our favorite donation recipient. We dropped off a bunch of women's clothes and unopened cosmetics. One of their employees helped us unload.
