My experience over the years with MCCN has not been great. But I'm now fortunate enough to be seeing a psychiatrist Dr. Vinod Sodha.
I've had at least six psychiatrists throughout the course of my life and only two of which have been good doctors.
Dr. Sodha is one of them. Where as the majority of psychiatrists have a big ego that unfortunately prevents them from listening and caring genuinely about the well-being of their patient rather than the well-being and fatness of their wallet, Dr. Sodha is the opposite. He doesn't seem to have an ego. He listens very carefully. And he does so out of what you can very clearly tell is genuine care for the patient.
He also is kind and friendly and not condescending or looking down on you as though you're less than because you have a psychiatric need.
My experience as his patient has been nothing but positive and while I would preface by saying MCCN can be frustrating and not as efficient as they should be I will say that if you need a good doctor Doctor Sodha is worth it. He good-natured, kind, compassionate, efficient , professional and he listens. He will not overmedicate you in order to fatten his wallet.
So if you've been mistreated by doctors before or overmedicated or just not listened to, I suggest giving Dr. Sodha a try because he may be able to help you.

Bad service. I made it with my 2 son early just to have some paperwork filled out. Made it at 8:25 am and been sitting for an hour or more. Children has to go to school. They are very unprofessional

Literally had to leave for many reasons. I was hoping to be helped but this place failed to do so. So much for helping out. I wouldn't want to give this a big list..
I waited far too long for my appointment but it seemed that people who arrive several minutes after me will be attended to immediately. Waited longer than expected and just lost hope that I was put into a room just to wait a long time again. Horrific and terrible place, Very Bad Time Management and overall terrible communication.

TL:DR- I wouldn't want to recommend anybody to come here for any sort of hope whatsoever, so if you need to get yourself checked in any way, I'd say that any other place is 100x better than this messy environment. Thank you for failing.

Update: after seeing many terrible reviews, they're right. Even after so many years. Still failed to be professional. Change the name, this isn't even a clinic.

Most of the doctors- former Doctor, Dr Chatterjee, and current Doctor, Dr Malaban,
and many other doctors do their best. I visited during the pandemic several times and still do.

The nurses do there best too especially when COVID got worse over time. The doctors & nurses have significantly improved their services. If the patient is scared of the Pandemic, the professionals implicitly concerned too.

This is the similarity we ALL share or should share.

I gave 4 out of 5 stars because of 1 staff member upfront - young female office worker on her cell phone when it is NOT really busy; however, a couple clients are still seated for there nurses to call them, check there weight, BP, etc., probably ask general questions prior for the doctors to do a full examination, after reading their updated charts. This occurred about 3 weeks ago.
The young office worker , on her cellphone,
did NOT show professionalism. It might be best that the owner talks to her, and assertively gives a warning of having her dismissed.
It is difficult to be efficient when you are NOT fully staffed with all doctors and nurses, and experienced office workers.

I updated my former comment from 1 star to 4 stars b/c because of my severe mental illness, and cancellations of appointments from my former therapist , Bianca, at that time. Dr Chatterjee, not employed with company, recommended another female therapist, that cancelled on me too. She spoke to me on my cell, but I NEVER had a tele-chat with her.

I grew from another therapist outside of MCCN. That is a different story.

Currently, in my current opinion, doctors and nurses are overall great. Front staff great, except the young office worker on cell.

Therapist Bianca below average. Other therapist No rating.

Thanks for reading.

This place is terrible! When you schedule an appointment, you get it set for about a month and a half later. If you walk in without an appointment they will not attend you, unless you look really sick but even then it takes about 8 hours for you to get a 5 minute consultation from the doctor. Also the nurses never answer the calls. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Had an appointment to get a TB shot for my new job at LAUSD
I was scheduled to come in at 12:45 only to be told when I got here that I was rescheduled for 3:00. I waited over an hour for a simple TB shot. If it wasn't because I needed this shot for my job ASAP I would have left and never come back.

How come everytime I called the operator it takes forever before they answer the phone. Most of my call was on hold... HOLD FOR A DAY. NOBODY BOTHER TO PICK UP THE PHONE. .. ALL DAY . ALL I HEAR WAS tutut-tutut-tutut... seriously. ( maybe they are busy txting ).

This was been a problem for a yearssss but Administration DONT CARE ABOUT THIS "SIMPLE PROBLEM".

PLEASE care about your patients. You should not in that position if you don't care.
