Being away from home during the holidays can be tough, but this package was an unexpected and much-needed boost to mood and morale of service members.

The package was generously provided by some amazing local organizations: Jags Gives Back, The Grey Legal Group, Elena Flores Realty, Legion Pest Management, Elsinore Elks Lodge, and Which Wich Superior Sandwiches. Even better, it was packed by volunteers from the community who clearly put a lot of thought and care into it.

While the contents were great, it wasn’t about the material things (a Christmas card, variety of snacks, etc.). What truly touched me was the care behind it—knowing that someone cares enough to send something like this to me. It made me feel appreciated.

MilVet is a fantastic nonprofit organization, and I’m so grateful for everything they do for service members. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful gift, and for bringing some holiday cheer to the men and women who serve overseas!
