The only place where I can have some peaceful time with my toddler.

Staffs are so nice, helpful and very thorough with all the process of getting a card and borrowing books. I got a new library card in 5 minutes.

Ample parking space available. Washrooms were neat and clean.

A lot of chair and tables available to read and do other activities. There is a specific kids corner as well where some toys are kept.

Upper floor is where computers are available.

Overall I love this place . And I am planning to come here even on weekdays now.

The staff are very kind and the decor of the library is very lovely. The kids area is also incredibly easy to find and has an environment for toddlers to play. The books are easy to find and they have many areas for a perfect book just for you!

I visited Milpitas library again after more than 4 years of absence today. Everything seemed so fine and comfortable at the moment.

I never realized that I was gonna encounter the worst and most unpleasant experience of my library visit about 10 years here in Bay area.As I was about to leave. Suddenly, an apple with tumor showed up, she came to the table I was sitting for an hour and half, interrogate me in an unsettling tone. The whole area on the west side by the window is empty from beginning to the end，except me and two empty tables with eight chairs for the last hour and a half. It was something from her mouth that according to the policy, the area for children only, adults are not allowed. Ridiculously, I do saw some adults around other parts of area I need to leave right away. I already said I am gonna be leaving soon. She stood there still with her aggressive and self conceited look. And then she yelled at me and forced me to leave. It was like I was gonna be beaten if she got a gun cause her voices raised ferociously. It was around 2:20pm.

The previous staff in charge never checked it on me with this policy when I made entry into the area, and during the whole time I spent at the table.
I don't think the library would train their staff to treat patrons like that.OMG, that's horrible. Working at the children's area doesn't mean you can behave like a wayward, ignorant , uncivilized child. It is the specific individual, a rotten apple on one's period spoils the bunch !!!!! Oh I forgot, she got a name , NORMA...

There was rich smell of junk from landfill yard not afar when I walked towards my car in the parking lot.

Great experience!!! It was my first time to sign up for any city library. I brought my daughter with me and sign up process was very straightforward. Within 5 minutes we both got library cards. They have a huge section for children's books. My daughter likes reading book and borrowed 20 book (limit is 100 🙂) also they have variety of DVDs for all. On upper level they have lots of computers for public usage and another huge book section for teenagers. They have laptops as well available to borrow for use in the library.

You don't have to be a book lover to visit this place. The big windows on the roof, classy pillars, and plenty of plants inside the building makes it a beautiful site for spending a few hours, especially on a rainy day!

One of my favorite public spaces in the bay not to mention their easy to follow checkout process along with amazing app. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It gets very busy on weekends so getting park and a spot to read might be challenging.

One of the best library buildings in the nearby counties. Neat, clean and well organized books with very helpful staff. Automated checkout machines, passport service, notary service and many other convenient services are made available.
A new addition is a laptop kiosk. 👍 Scan your card and instantly borrow the laptop under 10 seconds.

Cool updated library that has an expansive children's area with a kids play area. They also host baby enrichment events. The only negative is that both elevators were broken in the parking lot.
