I have many nurses due to shift changes. I’m fortunate to have Monica Rani as my nurse. I wish I had her every day. She’s intelligent but humble. Most importantly is she cares. She never hesitates to help me even when it’s not within her daily duties. Monica goes out of her way to fulfill my requests anytime any day. The world needs more like her. Thank you God for Monica. Thank you Monica

If you really care about your loves one do not place them here at Millbrae care center I honestly, this place should be shut down, the nurses and the C.N.A don’t care patients are Severely, Neglected C.N.A. Not passing water to the patients ( Dehydrated) not changing brief due to short of staff and can’t not even get a break time and lunch and the worst thing they want us to clock out for lunch during patients care and clock in if done 30minute. And also patients not being taken care of showers I hope that state of California needs to triple check this place due to the community noticed signs of neglect over working workers without breaks, patients being unattended, management not putting effort towards the building being up to date and I believe if this doesn’t get handled soon then most patients die not taker patients.

There was a crazy lady in 2022 recording in the nursing home and she was a very rude old lady I think her name is Ducray Carol and how she mistreated nurses and staff. I feel bad for the nurses who work here they are unappreciated, work many hours and understaff. Hope nurses can find other nursing homes to work

I can definitely understand why they are always short of staff. I had multiple issues with a resident. The first being her trying to hit me. So I reported it to the nurse and stated I needed to switch the resident. Never mind me being five months pregnant i was told multiple times “she’s like that with everyone”. Justifying her actions. Then the supervisor really took the cake for me telling me “I needed to not take things so personal”. How do you not take someone trying to hit you, verbally being abusive, and stating “she didn’t care that I was pregnant” personal? I made the supervisor aware of the behavior and I was then told for the second time not to take it personal and I needed to find a different job if I couldn’t deal with it. Lol. I’ve been in the healthcare field for 13 years and have literally been hit with a cane and continued to work with the patient but being pregnant and this is happening and made to be the problem because they don’t want to chart the behavior is a major problem! Oh yea, the patient had already stated she didn’t want to work with me.

My Mom came here in early December 2022 for what we thought would be a two to three week stay. It has ended up being much longer, and now she is in hospice care here. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to the staff here. SNF's have bad reputations, and some need to be better. But here my mom is accepted, loved, and cared for at a high level...BK

I recently ( 3 months ago ) transferred my father to this facility from the Los Angeles area. I’m really happy with the care and individual attention they give me and my father. Furthermore the staff is so friendly and so positive and I feel this is the perfect fit for me and my father.
I highly recommend this facility if your loosing for good care for your loved one !!

If you really care about your family, do not place them here. Honestly, this place should be shut down. The nurses don’t care, and the patients are severely neglected. Nurses are okay with letting their patients suffer and willing to lose their licenses due to their lack of empathy. Always understaffed, and working their employees to the bone.
