I've photographed several weddings here and they've all been wonderful. The community center is such a versatile space that can be transformed into any vision, and the patio offers a lot of flex and event space just as well. The large windows allow plenty of light into the main hall, and there's numerous photo opportunities given the surrounding natural beauty of the redwoods and hills. A beautiful venue and pleasure to shoot at!

We held our wedding reception in the beautiful Cascade Room of Mill Valley Rec in July, and our ceremony at the beautiful Old Mill Park just down the road. Since the establishment is foremost a community recreation center, you'll need to be flexible with the limited opportunities to view the venues. However that didn't detract from the experience at all - the staff were professional and prompt and wonderful to work with.

Went there for a party for my organization and I liked the spacious venue, plenty of parking space, more than one room for seating. Good garderobe with self-service. The waiting staff was very friendly. I can recommend it!

I’ve sent my kids to the preschool here for years and they have had the most amazing time and education! The teachers are TOP NOTCH and my kids have a blast and are prepared to enter kindergarten at MVSD. They’re after school, summer, and community programs are amazing too! All around INCREDIBLE place♥️

This place is perfect for Kids!!!

I love the pool with slide, the restrooms are kept very clean, the front desk help is not always helpful but they try, the grass is well kept and the programs are very comprehensive in their scope.

I love even having a picnic here from time to time with my family.

It's so close to everything, bike trails and the like so we can take a family cycling day and end up here.

Mostly kind staff and helpful play day coordinators.

It's a beautiful building for swimming but too cold for little ones taking swimming lessons. Need to wear a wetsuit to teach there and all the kids where cold, barely enough room to share with the other instructors. Fun place for a pool party if your a swimmer already.

Beautiful! Great place for a wedding. I bartended a wedding last weekend and this place was a great spot for a nice wedding. The staff was friendly and the venue large enough for at least 200 guests

The lawn space was the perfect venue for this past week's Memorial Day weekend celebration! Petty Theft, a local Marin band added so much fun to this event promoting dance and interaction with community. The recreation center is just the perfect place or other gatherings, classes, workshops and dances. Definitely check the calendar for upcoming events. Mill Valley rec centers centrally located with plenty of parking.
