This is my favorite West Coast library and one of the top three in the United States. I’ve never found another library surrounded by old growth redwoods. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are so many amazing places to sit and do work. Almost every view from almost every window is world class. Parking is very limited so you might need to drive around and park near the school or on one of the side streets. Other than that, I can’t find a single thing to complain about this place. It always delights and satisfies me every time I visit. If you are in the area and want to experince a world class library, I had to suggest you stop by.

A delightful place to read, work or gaze out any window at serene forest views. My favorite library in California .. possibly the world. The architecture and setting are magnificent. The black walnut furniture and cabinetry were skillfully crafted by master carpenters .. surnamed Carpenter 🙂

When you stop in to study but end up at a spiritual retreat, kind of place. This place is where you go to clock some high octane time. 10/10 would recommend brining a book, doing a study session, doing some writing...you know, all the library things

This library, located in a picturesque town, made me feel like I was reading in a cabin in the woods. I love how some of their collections are not developed based on a particular theory of arrangement. There is a truly stunning collection of books by women writers which go on to show that it is erroneous to typecast women’s writing as purely about relationships. With its scenic views, this place makes you feel at home.

This is a magical woodland library. Set in the redwoods, it’s the perfect spot to read in front of their fireplace, paint the trees on their deck (literally saw someone doing this!) or get some work done in a peaceful and airy space.

Amazing library sits inside the red wood park with little creek surrounding it. Big tall windows bring the nature inside. There were many categories of book selections. So peaceful and cozy and inviting to read.

A beautiful library in the middle of the forest. The scenery was gorgeous and relaxing and the library itself was cozy and quiet. A great place to read or catch up on work before going for a nearby hike! Definitely worth the stop.
