Absolutely 0 stars. I’m from out of state but had to get an eye appointment in while I was here. My glasses are broke simple fix was hoping they could just out a screw in for me and tighten them up and they wouldn’t even do that. Before I start my wait let me be clear. Dave a tech there is an absolute awesome man and is very helpful. Sadly he’s not the doctor so he doesn’t have final say. But anyways they do not accept or work with vision plans. They bill your medical insurance which I also have so I thought okay no big deal. My biggest reason on getting an appointment was so I can switch from monthly contacts to daily contacts. My job involves a lot of fumes around and to me it only makes sense to put a new pair of contacts in everyday instead of the ones that weee exposed to fumes. Dr goldfarb told me that wouldn’t even help and if I have dry eye which I do my only option would be to only wear glasses and that switching to daily’s probably wouldn’t even make a difference. To make a long story short, he was very rude during the whole visit and ended the appointment by not giving me a prescription or recommendations for any contact lens and said I have to go somewhere that works with vision plans. He couldn’t even give me a tip or anything on daily contacts. On my way out I saw Dave the tech again and asked him some stuff about the daily’s he thought would work great for me and immediately the doctor go very rude and hostile and yelled at Dave and said he’s not a doctor he will make you go blind. All I can say is he is the absolute rudest doctor there is and it’s very sad. Based on 99% of the reviews, I didn’t have the only awful experience. Do not go there.

My daughter, 8yo was seen by this doctor. In the beginning of the eye exam they gave her Cyclogyl 2% eye drops (which is NOT SAFE TO USE ON CHILDREN!) She developed strong side effects such as loss of coordination,
unusual changes in behavior, confusion, speech problems and hallucinations.
She couldn’t follow any instructions, she couldn’t speak normally, she couldn’t even recognize me, her mother!
Based on the exam at this condition Dr. Mark Goldfarb GAVE HER PRESCRIPTION FOR THE GLASSES! Is it even legal?
No words…

Beware!

I had an eye emergency last Wednesday, called my eye Dr and they had nothing then I searched on google and I found Dr Goldfarb who squeezed me in that same morning to see my eye. The front desk was so nice and accommodating, David who I believe is the eye technician was so informative, polite, and very nice and Dr Goldfarb was absolutely the best! He treated my eye which looked horrible and went back for a follow up. The wait time was less than 20 minutes each visit. I definitely recommend Dr Goldfarb.

I had my 1st and last appointment with Dr. Mark S. Goldfarb earlier this week. I was seen by (2) people in his office before I got to him. I told the doctors associates that I had an eye infection the previous week which lasted over 4 days with very blurry vision. My eyes were also very dry & extremely sensitive to light. The 1st lady was very nice, gave me the normal "letter eyechart to read & shot air in my eyes". After advising the 2nd associate of what I experienced the week prior, the gentleman further examined my eyes in their machine and explained to me that everything seemed normal. By the time I saw Dr. Goldfarb, my eyes were already examined by 2 other associates. Dr. Goldfarb examined my eyes again then confirmed my dry eye & gave me a prescription. Dr. Goldfarb then looked at my chart & said "it's good for you that we are a Tier 1 participating provider in your insurance plan as you are getting the best value". Dr. Goldfarb proceeded to walk me to the checkout desk. He handed the lady behind the desk my chart & said "There is a $50.00 co-pay and you are also to charge $100.00 for a refraction". He then walked away. I was in shock. I did not know what a refraction test was, nor at any point was I asked if I wanted a refraction test or told by anyone in his office that a refraction test would cost me an extra $100 out of pocket. Furthermore, there was a sign at the doctors CHECKOUT desk advising that "Refraction is not normally covered by insurance companies and this doctor charges an additional $100.00 out of pocket for this procedure. Dr. Goldfarb purposely withheld this "Refraction" information in order to get me to pay an extra $100.00 for this visit. Dr. Goldfarb proved himself to be dishonest and untrustworthy. These are the last qualities you expect from a doctor. Why would Dr. Goldfarb not disclose the additional $100 charge information prior to giving the "Refraction test"? Dr. Goldfarb's "Refraction sign" was STRATEGICALLY placed at the checkout desk to prevent patients from seeing it before the "Refraction" is done to achieve his long term goal of ripping off as many patients as possible. UNACCEPTABLE. BEWARE of this doctor. He comes across nice but rips you off behind your back. Charges MUST be disclosed before services are rendered.

Dr Goldfarb was the first in what has became a long line of eye doctors and specialists who have not helped the problem they were faced with. We are still looking for an eye doctor to successfully treat a bacterial eye infection of the cornea. He said “she’s going blind” which was a completely unethical thing to say to a patient by an ophthalmologist. Do not recommend. Beware! You’ve been warned.

He might have been good at one point but no longer is. Brought my husband here for cataracts and he told him he needed a type of surgery for a condition he didn't even have which we later went to a competent eye doctor and found out that it wasn't even existing. Bedside manner was awful told my husband he was legally blind which was another misnomer. I definitely do not recommend this eye doctor.

In July I had my routine eye exam at LensCrafters. At the time of my appointment my left eyelid was swollen. I ended up having an eyelash in my eye which was removed. A week later on a Saturday I woke up and my left eye was more swollen and almost completely shut. I went back to LensCrafters and they referred me to a ophthalmologist who was closed on Saturday. I did a Google search in my area and Dr. Goldfarb came up. In panic mode I called the office I spoke with the service and they had the doctor call me. About 10 minutes later I got a call from Dr. Goldfarb whom I’ve never seen before. I explained my situation to him on the phone and he was so nice and explained to me that he does not work on Saturdays. Long story short he agreed to see me as an emergency visit. So I met him at the office and was treated. Just the fact that he called me back so quickly and agreed to see me as an emergency is so wonderful and I am so grateful that he did that. I highly recommend Dr. Goldfarb. He is an amazing eye doctor. I went back for a follow up visit the next Friday before I was leaving for vacation. Not only is he a great doctor his staff was also amazing.

Had a really bad experience today. First, the African American female doctor was extremely rude. Didn't initially introduce herself. After answering her questions several times she kept repeating the same questions. She arepeating the same questions. She then decided to verbally comment on the condition of my current glasses. I arrived in a wheelchair as I am physically disabled. She also said I should have brought someone with me to the appointment since I'm in a wheelchair. I stated that information would have been helpful to know when I scheduled the appointmentand inquired if the office was wheelchair accessible. Horrible experience an I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone after repeatedly telling her I identify as transgender and keep misgendering me.
