My first encounter with the woman who owns/publishes "the Mesa Paper" was during our well-received and successful petition-drive against the 1,500 SBCC student dorm (with no parking) proposed for "Beach City." She approached our table on the Mesa, and initiated a discussion. However, she quickly verbally condemned me (and my nephew) for not supporting the massive project. She said we were "just like Donald Trump," and stormed off in anger.

For the record, I was a Bernie Sanders supporter during the primaries. Sadly, this woman is fixated on hating Donald Trump and uses her publication to denounce "the orange dude," and reproach those who dare oppose her views. She's a mini-tyrant! Her paper is just fine; a bit like a High School newsletter. I'm a writer by trade and I suppose her subject matter is not all that stimulating? Still, her views are strident and she can, at times, be obnoxious. I seldom take time to read the Mesa paper.

They litter your yard with this unwanted bird cage liner even if you live no where near the Mesa. The paper is an environmentally unwise and unwanted nuisance.
