I've been to this hospital twice already, and both times I went in very ill. Both times, they took me in very quickly and treated me right away to stabilize me.
I was also admitted on both occasions to where I had to spend the night there.
The staff was caring and would ask me throughout my stay if I was comfortable or if I needed anything.
I'm sorry that other people here have had bad experiences, but when it comes to an emergency, every minute counts.

Menifee Global Medical Center was about the only hospital in Menifee that was nearby to our home (couple miles out). I made the decision to drive my partner to this hospital after she accidentally fell several steps from a ladder. We had arrived around 930pm and was seen by a doctor almost three hours later. Needless to say, her arm was in excruciating pain and she was cold due to blasting air conditioning in the lobby and waiting area.

There was no line at front desk. Filling out forms was easy, but waiting was the hardest and understandable since it was the emergency waiting room. There were approximately five others ahead of us. She was taken in within two hours, wheeled out on a wheel chair and placed in the corridor area, waiting for another 30 minutes or so. While sitting around waiting, she must have observed a handful of staff, in the hallway areas, using their personal cell phones. Not one staff member asked how she was feeling, offered her assistance or even act like they cared. If staff were on break, they should have gone to the break room and used their phone.

Uncaring, uncommunicative and unprofessional staff, mediocre doctor, and low budget hospital
= 2 stars

Just wanted to point out the kind of service we ran into at Global Menifee on July 2024.

PS would like to give props to a Nurse who was the only nice one (Asian looking )

Menifee Global ER: where do I begin? Wheelchaired in (no foot supports on wheelchair). Sitting in triage when a doctor walks in. I try to tell her my symptoms, tell her I'm in great pain, and ask her what can they do for me. She blasts into me with a barrage of things which they cannot do for me, talking aggressively over me. Then I'm taken to the ER and placed in a bed. They draw blood and say I should have results within the hour. Two and a half hours later, I manage to flag down my supposed nurse asking for results. The entire staff is so busy making small talk and eating and drinking snacks that nobody would respond. Finally the doctor shows up, smirks at me, and then says the bloodwork doesn't warrant hospitilization. Her abrasive/abusive demeanor finally broke me, and we exchanged words. Completely unprofessional behavior from the ONLY doctor in the ER. Then they hooked me up for some fluids—which only took half an hour if that—and then everybody disappears back into their afternoon snack room with boisterous laughter so they can act like they don't hear you calling. The entire staff just ignores you, and they are obviously not working. All this while I'm in tremendous abdominal pain. I finally get a small Norco for the pain. I am 6'3" and weigh 215. One does me minimal good. Later I discover that she wouldn't give a second pill, but she WOULD prescribe a thirty day supply of Norco. This is such a botchery of the Hippocratic oath. I ended up being ignored for another hour and a half before they would discharge me.

Dr Daniella Garcia is far too young and volatile to be the sole doctor in charge of the entire ER. Her bedside manner is atrocious, and the argument she instigated was off the charts professionally. She is a hothead not suited for the position.

Nurse Mary Louise Javier—my so-called nurse—was never to be found and only then after I raised my voice to be heard over the party in the nurse's lounge.

I am 76 years old and am in a lot of abdominal pain. I have been in a few ERs but never one as poorly operated as this one. The entire staff treats patients as if they are just there to be ignored. Their private phone calls take priority to caring for patients in pain.

Upon returning home, I looked at the reviews for Menifee Global. Wouldn't you know, they are packed with stories of similar lack of treatment and concern.

It is obvious that it's time for Menifee Global to make some serious changes in the ER operation. There should be a Director on site at all times to make sure that these staffers actually are working rather than small talk, private phone calls, and a quality of concern for their patients. You have to experience this to believe it.

Thank you.

Have gone to the emergency room multiple times. Emergency room is always dirty from bloody gauze on chairs, floor dirty, and bathrooms are nasty. Patients are being treated in the lobby and personal info is being discussed in the lobby. I never make it in a bed in the back. Nurses are not friendly at all. Doctors dismiss you and brush you off. ER needs a overall revamping and joint commission needs to pay them a visit

Denise at the front desk is rude, inconsiderate, I compassionate and could less about patients that are coming with an emergency. The staff is also disorganized and do not care about their patients. If you care about yourself or your loved one DON’T bring them to this hospital.

The ER team here is one the rudest and unprofessional staff I have encountered. The department is unsanitary and dirty. My father went into Septic Shock because of low blood pressure and I was advocating for him because he could barely catch his breath. The ā€œnurseā€ Letty asked why he was here ā€œbecause he didn’t look sick.ā€ She proceeded to argue with me about getting more blankets for my dad to calm him down and stop his tremors/shaking. I had to look for her several times. There was no communication with me about him the entire 8 hours we were there. She alluded to say she gave him pain medications and I don’t think she did. If so, it was very minimal. I asked her to put Oxygen on him to help his shortness of breath & she said ā€œhis numbers are fine, he doesn’t need that!ā€ Then gave him Oxygen 5 hours later! Doctor Phillip Richemont was beyond arrogant and spoke to me very demeaning. I have NEVER felt so uncomfortable and pissed off in my life. It is people like these 2 why patients DIE! The only smart thing this doctor did was transfer my dad to a different hospital. Good riddance and I hope you get what’s coming to you. Neither of you should be in medical field or ever operating on someone.

Terrible experience. No bed in the room, had to sleep in the hall (they wouldn’t allow me a room with a bed?) Coldest doctor (Garcia) I’ve ever met with, ever. Very condescending and rude and should not be a doctor who works directly with people. Phones don’t work to call out. Staff doesn’t care to listen to your needs. ER staff spent majority of time eating donuts and talking about their drunk night out the night before as I was sitting there crying in pain.

I had minor outpatient surgery at Menifee Global Medical Center on December 18, 2024. This hospital is the worst I have ever encountered. No one knew what was going on (the nurse had no idea why I was there), and all questions I asked were answered with "It's protocol" instead of an actual answer. (However, their "protocol" does not involve keeping their parking lot clean. It was so filthy it looked like a dump.) However, I got lots of information I shouldn't have had from the Case Management office, which was right across the hall from my hospital room. The door was open and I learned more than I'd ever wanted to to know about several people's medical issues, family drama, and junker cars. Avoid this hospital if you can.
