Trish the new manager makes the senior citizens stand in the rain instead of letting us sit in the chairs inside. Because she says it's flu season and they had to wipe everything down. They wiped nothing down in the seating area while elderly people with their walkers had to endure the rain and cold. Then she said this is the way it's going to be. Sad to see the old folks out in the cold rain. There is nothing to wipe down in the area where we sat to wait for twenty five years. She's pushy and rude to people and treats the seniors poorly. This is on purpose to make us suffer. I see no other reason why you would not let people sit where it's dry and not so cold. Sheesh. She's not nice at all. Shouldn't have to be treated so poorly to get food in Fort Bragg.

There is probably not a more prolific organization on the coast that touches more people. That is a big say because we are blessed with so many that are always there to help. The staff is very helpful and the volunteers are the engine that makes things cook. They are open 5 days a week and work tirelessly to put the best product out for the community. The staff is very active in the town as well helping where they can. This place makes sure that people have a nutritious offering and lowers the food instability throughout the county.

Amazing volunteers, much need resource for the community and still accepting volunteers!

They ask for ID and phone number but it seems like if you have neither you’d still be accepted. Didn’t get any flack for saying neither to the female or male question, and Trish - such a cheerful volunteer - didn’t miss a step when I told her my chosen name over the legal one I gave.

You’re allowed to visit twice a week, they have produce and canned foods, and also meat and dairy if you’re into that. I’ve been to places where I was followed and judged for not picking up certain things- they don’t do that here. They weren’t phased by me saying I don’t eat meat or dairy, and no one really follows you are here. They are so kind, this is a really special program that accepts donations and is looking for volunteers!!

Friendly people! The food they give you is really high quality usually. There's very very little wait time too. I very much enjoy going here. I wish they had some Saturday hours, both so it was easier to go pick up groceries and so I could do some volunteer time to help out!

But I've lived in a lot of places and this is the nicest food bank I've ever visited. 100% best one.

I don't understand the reviews stating this place gives "quality" food. I received a box of cereal with a use by date of Feb 2023. Only a month from being a year out of date. As well as a milk product with an expiration date of November 2023. I've used quite a few food banks in my lifetime but never received goods with an expired or use by date of more than a week.

Thank God and thank you to everyone at our local Food bank for doing what you all do for us in our times of need. Especially for dearest Naomi. She has been such a blessing to my family. We can't thank you all enough 🙏 ❤️

The staff are very sweet and very helpful. Wonderful giving caring people. They give you plenty of food and even accommodate you if you have a big family. But watch out for thieves! I've had my purse and wallet stolen I even had my basket of food stolen just the other day. The people that come in to get the free food are Shady characters at times you really got to watch your back

I've volunteered at and been a recipient of several food-banks in my life, from San Francisco to Mendocino County. This place is great, especially for a small town. It felt like shopping. And all those helpful people to make sure you don't miss out on something...really a great experience. Thanks to everyone involved! This is what a community should look like.
