I was in downtown Mobile today when a youth group from this church was down there. While piling into the van, these children loudly ridiculed homeless people and kicked the doors of the graffitied establishment at Dauphin St and Franklin St. While I was trying to get my 7 year old and 2 year old into my car, which was parked in front of the van, these kids were screaming insults like "heifer" at each other and cussing. Jesus could really do some work on these kids' hearts, and honestly the hearts of their parents probably, seeing as they were raised with such distain for those less fortunate. I can only hope that the church does not endorse this behavior.
