Went to the Matthews Comic Con here at the community center. Free to attend with free parking. There were lots of comics for sale, vendors, artists, people dressed in costumes, food, and cars. Had fun!

I love community center for so many activities for families. And it’s so convenient to leave your kids for dance or any other classes and just go to the market or shopping. And they got plenty parking and I love that it’s Matthews city center so all the dining spots are really close. And people that work at the front desk are friendly and helpful.

Beautiful place that has a nice decent size theater for various shows. The Matthews Community Band puts on free shows to the public here sometimes. Can never go with with live music.

I am very impressed with the Matthews Community center. This is the second year my group has demonstrated fiber arts during the Matthews Alive festival. The staff is professional to work with and always helpful. The center offers many great programs for the community. I live 2 counties away and wouldn't hesitate to come back for one of their classes or theater shows. A very well run community center!

Nice facility. I attended a tax seminar in the community room. Clean spacious and staff of the Community Center were extremely helpful. Highly recommend this well kept secret in the Matthews community. I am not sure how you book. However I would recommend you book it for you next event.

This is a great place for fun and the arts. Many awesome groups here including Matthews Playhouse Theatre. They also run some fantastic camps for kids throughout the year.

Great place for all of the community programs that Matthews has to offer. During the summer programs, we were always had the door opened and greeted.
Not sure why downstairs is kept so cold, though.

Great Christmas show. Careful not to sit too close to stage as visibility is hampered by stage lights and speakers at front of stage.
