I was a resident there in the 70's and believe i was first taken there in the late 60's. I was fortunate to have been there but because of the pain of knowing that my family didn't want me or may not have been able to raise me, I ran away in 1975 or 76? I am thankful for basically being raised there and would like to return someday to visit and hopefully remember more from my past.

For several years as a member of the Eastern Star, our group visited Oxford. It’s an amazing place for children to grow when they can’t be at home, especially at Christmas. The kids are so appreciative of everything! It makes me happy and sad at the same time but I wouldn’t take anything for the opportunity to visit.

Went here a long time ago.. one of the worst experiences of my life. This place doesn't work well with people of color. Especially the older groups. I must say I've came a long way in life without the help of these people. Hopefully there's new people in charge..the ones that were there when I was there ,weren't as good as they made themselves to be.
