A huge turn around! I recently did a walk through, and it was great seeing all of the changes that have been implemented! Starting with the reception desk being nicely set up and receiving a warm greeting upon entering, to the upgrades they are doing throughout the building. The building looked clean and the courtyard was very nice; really seemed like the resident enjoyed having a nice place to go relax and get a breath of the nice morning air and socializing. The new administrator, Cameron, has really put together a great team who genuinely smiled and asked if I needed help with anything as I walked by them and they seemed happy to be there taking care of families loved ones. Meeting with Maria, their social services director, it was easy to tell how much that she genuinely cares about the outcomes and quality of life of each of the residents there as she spoke with such compassion about what types of services they offer and how they follow up post care at their facility.

My experience here was just great. I came here almost unable to walk with the help of therapy I am walking pretty well. The staff here is wonderful and very caring and attentive towards you. there were a lot of activities and the food here was great, I met a lot of really nice people. I’m happy I came here. Visited day after Thanksgiving and the facility was clean and smelled better than prior visit since COVID. This time it smelled more like cleaning products which is positive.Staff/Nurses/CNA were very attentive and responded to my MiL’ roommate’s “requests.”

Only on going issue is that the cafeteria doesn’t adhere to Doctor’s food orders and continue to serve the food that are not good for the patient. There are instructions place on each tray specifying dietary needs but the cooks ignore it or that can’t read and the person serving the food doesn't read the order. They need to address this or someone may be injured.

The care here is better than anywhere else in Yuba or Sutter County, including The Fountains. These people are busy working hard trying to get people well and on their feet. It's impressive.
