A very cool place to come and hang out. While I was there it was very quiet and inviting. The children/young adult sections were beautiful with a “Secret Garden” archway. From the children’s section you can go outside to the playground. There are computers for use. The stacks are well-organized and well-stocked. I was there for Large Print books and there was along row of books to choose from. I like that the row signs are quilted. The librarian that I checked out with was nice. On the way out we noticed signs for a butterfly garden and a walking path. The library seems new and well taken care of. I just wish it was closer to where I live!

Great staff and a wonderful facility. Noted that FEMA was providing services there. Also met a representative for Aging Services. This is a huge resource for Madison County.

We LOVE our library. Staff is great. The Marshall location is the best library (even compared to Asheville) and is set up so well. It is our favorite trip of the week.

The Madison County library is a wonderful peaceful place to study. Also, my son says the playground is awesome because of the outdoor xylophones and slides! Great place to bring kiddos.

I love this library. Lots of natural light, plenty of space, never crowded. The librarians are kind & helpful & they have a super relaxing back patio area as well. This is my go to study spot.

If you're in Madison County NC., you gotta check out their library!!
I fell in love with libraries at an early age. My Mother brought my baby sister& myself to our local library from the time we were very young& we fell in love with it!!
Madison County Public Library nurtures a childs spirit & reminds this gal of all the fun, excitement&adventure the library holds for all those seeking it.
Madison County Public Library has an adult, juvenile& childrens' section, a large Rental DVD collection(many current titles). I believe they have several different types of activities depending on the day. Ive seen Magic Shows, Aerialists & a Ventriloquist show. They also have book readings, signings& other groups of inteterest such as Crocheting groups etc.
Take a stroll thru their beautiful herb&flower gardens, tended to by local volunteers. Their Annual Raffles are PHENOMENAL!
Plentiful parking, Wifi& so many other great things I just KNOW I'm forgetting SOMETHING, LOL!
