Let's start off with rude customer service by manager Sherri Garcia and an unknown female cash register employee.
I brought an item to the register. Clearly marked $1.49. When they used their barcode scanner, it said the product was 5.99. They refused to give it to me for the 1.49.
Now this is where it gets to be bad customer service, and I might add questionable business practices; Manager Sherri said I'm not saying that you changed it, but someone changed it from 5.99 to 1.49. As you can see in the picture, CLEARLY, no one changed a number, which means that it was a pricing glitch or error on their part. They should have honored the 1.49 price as marked. But to argue and borderline accuse that I had somehow manipulated the price is really unprofessional and inappropriate. Also, saying others have done it in the past does not justify this action.

I come here often and the staff is always friendly! The place is always clean and pretty well organized which makes shopping much easier! The only negative I have is with the taggers. Why must you tag directly on the back of the collar of shirts or pants which ALWAYS leaves a hole ? This shirt is brand new with tags and it is ruined due to the tagging.

The prices are outrageously high. Management is doing it's best to squeeze every penny out of our pockets. The short stubby female manager is the most dishonest and verbally abusive manager that Goodwill ever had since it's opening. Residents at our community functions have discussed their uncomfortable interactions with her. The lack of friendliness towards senior citizens went out the window once she arrived. A number of us refuse to return or donate due to her negative attitude. The other complaint was the price changes. Sometimes they place a tag on top of the original tag and sell the item at a higher price. The prices and rude customer service( manager) is enough reason not to shop or donate there any longer. Once her dark cloud is no longer present, I'm sure the change of weather will invite us to return and enjoy a hassle free shopping experience .

This has got to be THE cleanest, most well organize Goodwill I've ever seen! All the clothes are not only organized by style, color, but also size! It made it super easy to look through to find what I wanted! The shelves were Packed with all kinds of good stuff. I'm sure i could have spent hours finding treasures. My only complaint is the pricing on most everything is surprisingly high. I noticed quite a few clothing brands where the Goodwill price was close to the original brand new price for the same item in a regular store. It made me not want to look through the clothing unless there was something I absolutely needed and couldn't find elsewhere. I think this place is best for something you want to find in good/great condition and are willing to pay the cost for that. Note: if you sign up for emails, you do get sent coupons. Every penny off helps.

Prices are ridiculous. Selling second hand items for as much as retail if not more in some cases. I used to like coming here then the new management took over and it has been horrible experiences after another. All the managers are extremely rude and have an attitude. Went it looking for planters and they wanted to the same price I could buy brand new ones at Walmart for. Wound up going to Walmart and getting a bunch of planters for 50% less than what goodwill was asking.

I went shopping today at your maricopa,AZ location. The box was marked vanity set. So I assumed it was a vanity. The donation attendant that help me did not check the box to see if anything was taken or added. I know that when items are brought in they’re supposed to be checked and evaluated, which did not happen with this item. When I got home so excited for my vanity, to my surprise when I open the box it was filled with clothes. I use to work at a savers i know how the employees are supposed to check every item. When I went to try to get my money back the manager told me she couldn’t because it was a return.

My recent visit to Goodwill left me pleasantly surprised and eager to share my positive experience. The store's organization was impressive, making it easy to navigate and find hidden gems. The staff members were not only helpful but also friendly, adding a welcoming touch to the shopping experience.

I appreciated the reasonable pricing, making it a budget-friendly option for thrift shopping. The diverse array of items available allowed me to uncover unique treasures, from vintage clothing to one-of-a-kind home decor pieces. It's clear that Goodwill strives to curate a diverse selection, catering to various tastes and preferences.

While my overall experience was excellent, I couldn't help but imagine the potential for an even broader selection of certain items. Expanding the range could further enhance the appeal of the store and attract an even wider customer base.

In summary, Goodwill impressed me with its organization, friendly staff, and affordable prices. It's a go-to spot for those seeking budget-friendly finds, and with a bit of expansion in certain categories, it could become an even more diverse and enticing shopping destination. Four stars well-deserved!

Greedy owners. Why would I pay double for a product when I can go to Walmart and get it brand new for half off

This Maricopa Goodwill has increased its prices tremendously out of greed on DONATED USED goods that less fortunate people need.

I won't ever be going back to this place again. New management is incompetent.
