Pretty good for a government service, Much less painful than expected. There was security at the entrance to check if you have an appointment against a list, then checked in at a kiosk to get a number. Waited 30min to be called when I arrived before my appointment time.

The employee I interacted with was above and beyond in their service and demeanor. I only now kick myself because I do not know their name. They were efficient and knowledgeable. They helped complete my task and offered sage advice for future interactions. I thoroughly enjoyed my time during my appointment. Everyone who worked there was kind, helpful and informative. My wait was short and efficient. The area was clean and serene for waiting.

Unprofessional and discriminatory behavior at 123 William St lobby. A Black female lobby staff singled me out and told me to leave with no valid reason, while others were allowed to stay. When I asked why, she rudely responded, ‘I said so.’ This is unacceptable treatment of visitors and raises serious concerns about discrimination and professionalism

I just want to bring to the attention to whom it may concern I was at the Social Security office at 123 Williams St. On July 3. Which is the Social Security office in Manhattan one of many, that I had been to on the same day. but I have to say that this one stand out to me the most the representative that helped me. His name was Mr. TEIXEIRA, whom I have to say was extremely patient. Great customer service skills and really understanding. He did not know that I was a disabled veteran with a liver and kidney transplant and was very weak on this day from running around with my dad. In which I care for now. All he knew was that I was a daughter caring for her father. With this being said, I do believe that Mr. TEIXEIRA should be recognized for his impeccable customer service. It was a really hard day for me and he made it Uncomplicated for me that day. Please let him know I truly I’m grateful for his extraordinary customer service
Thank you.

I had a positive experience at the SSA for the second time. On my first visit, my certificate name was incorrect, but they guided me on how to fix it. I was hoping that this morning I would be assisted by the same person who helped me last time, Mr. Teixeira at window 28. Luckily, as the first person in line, I was able to be helped by him again. He was just as helpful and kind as before. From the security guard to Mr. Teixeira, the entire process was smooth and efficient. I'm glad I was able to get everything taken care of quickly.

I walked in to update my information. Upon arrival you’ll take a ticket via a machine and then wait for your number to be called. The place was extremely clean, comfortable and I was in and out within 30mins at 3pm on a Friday. The lady at Counter #14 greeted me with a smile and was both helpful and patient. I had the best experience and if only all civil servants were like her, the world would definitely be a better place!
