I went to Maggie Valley Nursing Home for rehab after a short stay in the hospital. I was very impressed with all the Nurses, CNAs, PT and OT helping me and all the residents in the facility.
All of them had very caring Hearts ♥️ and took time for every need of all the residents. We could do fun crafts, special people would come in and 🎶 sing.
I really enjoyed my stay at Maggie Valley Nursing Home and All the great help I got with PT & OT put me on the road to recovery. ❤️

Maggie Valley has a low CNA to patient ratio which allows optimal care for each resident.
Many agency CNA’s are present but come with extensive experience.

However; The director of nursing Marydith Parton RN, promoting nepotism, through many employed family members, ensures staff favoritism and unfortunately this is where the issue lies with patient care.

Resident neglect and abuse are overlooked, including narcotics being brought into the facility continuously after 11pm by a recognized dealer.

One resident was noted leaving the facility and returning with marijuana. It has been discussed among the CNA's that Marydith Partron will overlook the issue and fire the CNA that make mention. This is known among the CNA's as being "Placed on the chopping block by Marydith Partron.

Those that truly care and what to make a difference are often forced to leave by false allegations.
Currently Maggie Valley is under investigation for resident neglect, more specifically ignoring a resident who is shouting for help.

On a positive note, the rehab department is absolutely amazing, state of the art equipment, caring staff and even pet therapy!

Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation was the final care giver for my Mother. They took great care of Mom. I wish we had found them earlier.

The facility is the nicest nursing home I have visited.

The staff is caring and hard working. I never saw anything that would cause me concern.

I would say if you have a loved one who needs care that you can no longer provide, check out Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation. Your loved one will be in great hands.

Everyone at the Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center have been absolutely Wonderful! From the moment we entered through the front at admission all the way to the sweet folks who keep the rooms tidied, each and everyone again has been WONDERFUL! Everyone has gone out of their way to make sure our mom has what she needs, is comfortable and taken care of. Each staff person we have encountered smile as well as ask you how you are. Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation is clean and smells good. My family and myself few very comfortable with our mom being there and the outstanding care she is getting from the medical staff. If we could give them 10 stars we would. We highly recommend this place for your loved ones.

I was in here for a better part of two weeks for rehab. The nursing staff was very good. I wasn't made comfortable when it came to a bed to sleep on. The kitchen staff is not knowledgeable about diabetes the food is not all that good if you can have someone bring you your meals. Overall its a clean facility.

The care my parents have received from the staff has been exceptional. They treat each resident as if he/she were family, with compassion and love. The facility is bright and clean and everyone is friendly and willing to answer questions and help in any way they are able.

I visit often with my therapy dogs. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The residents are always happy to have a visit from the furry love bugs. It's a treat for the staff as well. We always feel welcome.
