Came in on Xmas eve and got in so quick
Nurses and staff where so nice, fast and very informative..
We just moved here from Arizona and I am not use to the fog/mist. So it was nice to be able to take the back roads to this hospital.
I would have definitely not made it to Fresno!
I just found out during our visit this hospital is closing. What a great loss for this community that I am now apart of.
Thank you to Tyler and all the staff working tonight. You guys are amazing.

If I could give 10 stars I would .the staff was great, from the kitchen to the nursing staff, and the Dr made my moms hospital stay very easy and safe. It's a small hospital ,that provides that small town at home environment. I know my mom is well cared for at this hospital. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my moms care but MCH.

So on Halloween, which they admit is one of their busiest nights of the year, they have one doctor. With my blood pressure raging at 194/106 when I arrived, I waited 7 hours to be told I wasn't important enough to be seen by the doctor and to wait an additional 3 hours for an appointment with the clinic. Great service no wonder Madera community hospital ranks worst in the entire valley!!!

Had a great experience at the hospital, nurses and doctors were very professional. Best of all, they were able to see me within a few minutes of my arrival. After spending 4 hours on the floor of another hospital's ER room, I can say that the Madera community hospital is the place to receive the best health care in the area. You don't know how good you have it until you experience the worst.

My father was here at MCH for about a month. The hospital was trying to place him in a long term nursing facility due to our family not being able to provide him the care he needs (final stages dementia)
I received a phone call from a care manager from the hospital, she told me my father had been accepted into a home and I wrote down the name and location. I told her I would call back because I needed to speak with my family and Google the facility to see if it would be a good fit for him. My family agreed, this place had great reviews and we felt it was a safe place for him to live until he passes. I called the Care Manger back and gave my authorization as my fathers Power of Attorney. I received a call the following day from the facility he was at. IT WAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FACILITY. One that I have never heard of and obviously didnโ€™t give authorization to. They arenโ€™t doing anything to correct their mistake. Has anyone else experienced this?

When I had a cat scan done in the ER, the doctor did not come in to give results. They sent the nurse in to have me discharged and told me everything was fine. Luckily I always check MY patient portal on the web just to find out I have an enlarged liver and was never told about it. Always check your Portal.

My husband brought me to the emergency room two years ago. I was vomiting non stop and my chest hurt. While in the emergency room, I had to constantly get up to go to the bathroom to vomit. They offered me a bag, but I'd rather use the bathroom. One of the times, my husband thought I was taking too long and started to worry. He told the security guard the situation and asked if himself or anyone could check on me... Nothing. He went to the front asked the same thing... Nothing. When I finally came out and he told me this, I was pretty pissed. They didn't seem to care. Turns out I had really bad gallstones. This guy came in to talk to me about my options. I believe he was an assistant of some sort. Not quite a doctor. He was willing to just send me home with pills and told me to change my diet... Oh and if the symptoms persist, to just come back. I knew it was beyond fixing at this point, and I couldn't deal with the pain and constant vomiting. I almost had to argue with him that I just wanted the surgery to remove it, so that I didn't have to keep coming to the ER. He finally went and got a doctor's opinion and showed him my ultrasound... And guess what he said? That I needed surgery right away! After 10 hours of waiting I finally had my surgery. It's crazy to say, but that was the best part of my experience here. Dr. Desantis was and excellent surgeon, very informative, and comforting. I was terrified because this was my first surgery, but Dr. Desantis and the anesthesiologist we're amazing.
