Macon County is one of the best libraries I have ever visited. I am so happy to live in this wonderful town of Franklin and get to enjoy this beautiful library all year long. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. The atmosphere inside and outside is fantastic. The library offers many activities for all ages, all year round.

We so enjoyed being in the Library today. It was the first time we've been inside since Covid! We so enjoyed getting books for our granddaughter and speaking with the children's librarian.

Great library, very helpful staff, lots of comfortable spots to do some reading. I was in today and got a library card. Don't know why i waited so long. This Macon County Public Library has so much to offer, books galore, magazines, free wifi, audiobooks to download, movies on dvd. Now I'm a senior and need to keep my mind fresh I'm going to make use of the great resources available to me in our hometown!

This library has always been my favorite. I don't get to visit much, but when I do, the staff go above and beyond to accommodate and will bend over backwards to help you in every way they can. I love MCPL very much! Their atmosphere, the cozy fireplace, the lovely staff, and everything about this branch is exactly what I love for our local mountain town library,.

Fantastic, cozy, quiet atmosphere with tons of amenities. Having a 5 year old son, their children's area is also a highlight. They even have a fireplace going on cold days. Very clean and patient, helpful staff.
I'd give it 5 stars but last time I used the computer lab, the software and hardware was severely out of date (this might have changed).
But overall, great place to relax and even has a great view of the mountains right outside the front doors.

I have been going there for at least two hours almost every week. Every member of the staff is very helpful. They have rooms that you can reserve for things that you need to do. For example, I am planning a PowerPoint book presentation and signing on 'Horses Need Friends, Too' ...which is one of the 22 books that I have written. This presentation will probably be sometime in the future when the weather warms up. I also work on my counseling that I may do in the future. You will enjoy just being there in this library.
