The love community church is also a food bank that gives out a very generous amount of food every monday and friday from noon until 3:00 pm. I volunteer there whenever I can to help do pickups and distribution. All are welcome. ( must wear a mask and have some kind of I.D. ).

Easy to find on N. Liberty St. Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina was helping give out food when we went by the other afternoon. The people were so kind & helpful explaining everything to us since it was our 1st time ever coming there & the line wasnt long @ all. We received a huge variety of foods & a lot more than we ever imagined we would + they were kind enough to help us out w/ dog food as well!

Found the volunteers extremely rude. A lady went to the open counter where there were some juice boxes and took one but instead of being nicely told that those were for the kids (no sign stating such) the lady got loudly reprimanded by one of the volunteers and then another one made an announcement to everyone right after regarding the juice boxes. It was uncalled for. Such an announcement could have been made in the beginning when the rest of the announcements were made.

The main woman at the food pantry is very impolite. I have never encountered a more rude individual at a 'Christian' organization. They should change their name from Love to Rude or Hate.

The people that work for the food pantry are very nice and I love them all. They take time out of their schedules to hand out food that is so well needed at times. I thank all of you.
