I recently joined Los Gatos Swim and Racquet Club and have been very impressed with the overall experience. The front desk staff is welcoming and helpful, and the facilities are kept exceptionally clean, from the fitness center to the restrooms. The club has such a relaxing vibe—it really feels like a little piece of Hawaii right here in Los Gatos! Overall, I’m very happy with my choice to join.

We joined the club a few months ago primarily because of their pools. So far it's been great. The water quality is good and the pool is not crowded in mornings and evenings. Suitable for kids play as well as lap swimming.

The showers and restrooms are outdated and definitely not luxurious, but they are clean and usable.

The staff has been very friendly so far.

I’ve had a family membership at Los Gatos Swim and Racquet Club for over 11 years. Overall , I’m happy with the club, though there is a need for some repairs. The group exercise classes are a great feature, and while I enjoy several of them, my favorite by far is the Zumba class on Wednesdays led by Kristy. Kristy brings a positive energy to her class with a fantastic choice of music. She is truly the best Zumba instructor I’ve experienced. Her classes are fun, energetic, and always leave me looking forward to the next session.

This club was right down the street from where we live, so it was a natural
choice to join. The membership was very reasonable for a family of four
and it had a swim team which was great since we had them on a team in our previous neighborhood. We joined right away in 1996.

It was a real "family friendly " atmosphere, my daughter even worked as a
life guard a couple of summers, perfect!!
The club itself was always clean and I saw many renovations over our 19
years of membership.
I mostly used the gym, but it's very popular for tennis and holds a championship game every year.
When I was a member, there were 2 choices of membership; one with tennis included and one without ( less expensive) I was forced to play tennis when I was a child, so I detest it now, it's a crying shame!! Lol

They also have personal training and a snack bar too.

Great club and reasonable price

Poor customer experience. For the last two years I signed up my son to join the summer camps. This year he also took private swim lessons at the club and I took a couple of private tennis lessons with the intention to take more. We are not members of the club so I paid for non member fees which are higher as expected. Everything was fine until there was an issue that I raised through customer support on the website. I cancelled a swim lesson and they didn't pay me the refund. When I inquired about it, they told me that the policy required me to cancel 7 days in advance. This policy was never disclosed in any of the purchase flows or at the point of cancellation. Not only they refused to process the refund but they also handled it poorly with dismissive emails and really unfortunate communication. I take no issue in the cancellation policy but my issue is that it was never disclosed. I would have not cancelled the reservation if I was aware of the policy. I even searched everywhere I could (including the printed brochure) before I clicked on the cancellation button. This has left me with such poor taste in my mouth. A company that takes no feedback from the customer and treats them like numbers is good for nothing. I am wondering how I ever trusted them with my kid. We are all just $$ and numbers. Most of the staff are super young and not mature enough to really understand the point or view of the customer. Summer camps are fun but they have no issue in easily distributing sugar and the food is disgusting. We made the experience fun for my son by asking his other classmates and friends to join. If only these young kids could understand how much money I have helped them make through referrals and through my own purchases, they would treat me differently. We are nobody to them. Just $$$. I want to be part of a community and be treated differently. I am disputing the charge and sharing my feedback so you know what type of people you are dealing with here.

Nice swimming pools with different temperatures. Kid friendly. Kiddie pool is actually warm!

Unfortunately, the shower situation is just tragic and this brings down the entire club experience. Whoever is in charge of the showers is pathologically cheap. During my last visit only 1 out of 4 showers in the men's locker room was operational. Why? Because they buy the bargain bin fixtures from Wal-Mart and they promptly break.

When I visited with my kids we tried the new private family shower area. Brand new, nice tile, clean, proper ventilation so it's not moldy like the adult area... and Wal-Mart fixtures again! It's already falling apart.

I have been a member for off/on my entire Adult Life. I love this place. The Pool is big and other swimmers are easy to share a lane. I taught my kids to swim at this place. The Gym have evolved over time, and Brian and his fitness team are always friendly and available. The equipment is par with everywhere else.
This place is a family place, not a pickup joint and a place to be seen. This is what I love about it. Want a place for family. This is it.
