The amount of checks they had to give me back because my case worker refused to do her job back last year in June

10 months of incompetent trash handling my case

Went in in March of this year 9 months after she was supposed to stop taking my payments and was told directly by her supervisor that she just flat out lied to me and couldn't explain why she had done that.

But I knew why

Since the day I told her I had custody her whole attitude changed. She became rude and condescending. And blatantly lied.

And if you're curious to know how I know she lied. Her boss went through her own notes and stated she should've stopped taking my money the second she knew I had my daughter in my care, which she stupidly left in her notes 🙄🙄🙄🙄

If I could give them a 0 I would. All the workers at this place are incompetent . I'm not even sure why these people are employed. If you want anything done, ask for the phone number of the case manager directly. It's the only way to get things done. There should really only be a case manager since these workers actually do nothing.

You cannot be nice when you call. I was nice for 3 years and they did not help me. You have to be assertive with them and "take the bull by the horns" and lead the conversation or they will not be helpful

Mrs.Castona from the beginning I picked up her call is very unprofessional. She could've went another way about giving me a call about my case. Doesn't seem like they want to be polite and just talk down on you like you owe her money and she paying me child support or you are below her. There's a reason why these office are here and its to help locate the other parent to financial help you out with your child. Not to be talked down or degraded and we all should be treated with the same respect.

I never write reviews or give my insight but this time I just have to.

I called in and had some basic questions about my child support case. I then asked to be transferred over to a manager which at that point I was transferred to "Ms Baker" . First and foremost what a disgrace on her professionalism and her ability to just help someone out. She had an attitude from the very beginning. I was confused so I asked a very simple question and then she followed by saying " I dictate this conversation and if you keep going with this I'm "gonna" hang up and she did . These los Angeles county employees feel it's right to just disconnect and move on. I needed help with my case and I was hoping a manager could help. They have no respect for their job and position. I just hope this doesn't happen again to anyone. Ms Baker is not meant to be a manager bottom line.

Louann Omar has no basic knowledge of returning calls. A child was placed in my home after an emergency placement she handed me the child with no information what so ever.

She provided me her office number and a number for a supervisor that doesn't answer either. Been calling for 3 days and no one seems to care about the welfare of this child.

Please don’t waste your time by visiting this office, they work for the government and they don’t care about your child at all. They are very very very rude and unprofessional. They have no compassion and respect to your case or your child. I worked so hard to complete all the paperwork with my own money and investigating on the other party and they say we are not going by lifestyle , we are just go by his tax amount. And they say this is a country case you don’t have to come to court. The office is so disgusting

I applied for child support modification for the past 9 months no answer yet ,when I called they said we still working on it . We go by tax information only .you can get outside attorney for more information. We are happy whatever he paid.

Someone by the name Rita who worked at that office called me to to get some information. It was difficult for me to understand her, since she spoke broken English. She was extremely rude and when I asked her to let me speak to a supervisior, she hung up on me. She uses the words " I don't care what you want" and "you are lying". When I was talking to her in a cordially way. Unbeliveable !!!!. Dealing with the public services office is a nightmare. I should give them 0 stars, but it doesn't allow me to.
