A small town library that has the book options of a large city. This library is part of the Santa Clara County Library circuit. Nice children's area with relatively clean couches to read on. Lots of computers to use, can get a library account for free to use a private browsing session. Large teen and adult sections as well. There are also exhibits that rotate monthly on the walls that are near the entrance.

acute and modest library surrounded by nature and a community center. The technology is very good with huge touchscreens and even laptops for rent, they also have plenty of music and games. however the Wi-Fi speeds feel suspiciously low

Are you kidding? What a super library with incredible staff! I visited for the first time today all the way from Santa Cruz. How lucky are you folks in Santa Clara? Just sayin'.

Great library for access to newspaper, magazines and books. Since it is part of Santa Clara County system, you can put a hold on books from any county library and they will deliver it to the Los Altos branch. They have a friends of the library where donated books are sold almost quarterly. Near the entrance are books for sale from donations as well. There is room to study as well as computer access.

I use this library primarily for picking books for my kids. They have great collection for kids and toddlers besides everything else. Toddlers can also spend time working on LEGO table or the train table.

Friendly staff and an awesome library! Liked the collection, also the layout. It was quite peaceful to read there, it's relatively small but small is better if you can find what you need in time. Typically it used to take much longer for me to find interesting books than what I had observed here, so maybe it's a good collection or my interests have changed lately.

Library is quite bright, I liked the view of the apricot garden from study desks. There's very few wall outlets so if you're planning to work on laptop, better to either bring it fully charged, come at less popular hours, or close the lid when the battery is dead and spend time reading real books there which isn't bad, maybe a bliss. One of the patron has installed more ports around the sofas which is quite useful in the emergency.

Children's section has nice collection too. One cool thing I noticed was that books for parenting are also found in the children's section. It's great idea as it makes books more accessible to relevant people. I'd have actually missed getting few very useful books had I not found them there. Thanks to whoever thought of this!
