I stumbled upon this organization on Facebook last summer and decided to volunteer helping with their two big art installations. The people were so welcoming, extremely helpful and didn’t mind I have no previous experiences. They were willing to teach anything I wanted to learn. I felt I was part of their community. I’ve made great friends during my time there and already plan to go back and build more arts with their incredibly talented artists. Highly recommend Looking Up Art if you need a space to create your next idea, the facility is well equipped for small or big projects, but most importantly, it’s an amazing community to be a part of.

Looking Up Arts builds incredible art and builds community at the same time. I got connected to them in 2018 when I fell in love with their Rainbow Bridge art installation. I joined them as a volunteer in 2019 when they were building the Cone Down installation and they welcomed me with open arms. I did not have any background in art or building and they happily taught me anything I wanted to learn. They are an inspiring community of artists and builders but beyond that they are inclusive and welcoming to all.

This places "No Dancing" installation was placed strategically right accross from 6th Avenue skating place the place skaters go to dance. Its huge and overshadows the entire area. We now have to look at it for a year! It is such a massive bummer and we cannot believe this organization would do this. Talk about bad art with horrible execution.

Thoughtful and impressive art pieces! The No Dancing sign in GGP is one of my favorite art pieces in the city. I love running to and dancing by it.
