This place is mean to children, the staff don't understand these children go through a lot. They do not feed the children enough food to get full on. and children have to beg for food. They lock the children out of their rooms in the winter time barefooted with no coats to run the streets. The children have to sit in a room before going in the facility for an hour if they leave a day and if they leave longer they have to sit in a room for 4 hours. Why do they have to go through that? That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. The staff cusses at the children and have smart mouths, they try to call them outside like they are going to fight them, they are rude and very disrespectful. They do not even know how to speak to concerned parents. Some of them children are in there not because they want to be but because they are placed there from CPS. They need to learn some manners and take some kind of classes to deal with the children. Any child would have issues if they have gone here. Need new staff that cares for the children they are not animals they are children and they are human too.

I woke up in the middle of the night because this place randomly crossed my mind ...I spent a lot of time here from when I was either 13 or 14 maybe the time gets blurry now a days but the memories I have from here are amazing it was a really good and safe place ..and it really helped me and a lot of us through our tough times ...the bonds and the support we got from each other and the staff was simply amazing and this place is a huge part of my life

I’m 30 years old now and I really am thankful safe places like this existed then and now
