It's a good place for the homeless to get out of the elements for the day and shower, do laundry, charge their phone's and eat. My only complaint is that for being a homeless resource center they only allow you to do (1) load of laundry a week. But I did get a shower and washed my clothes. But for a facility to get "Federal Funding" (to help and provide resources for the homeless) and be the only one that limits doing laundry to (1) load a week isn't right. Hands of Hope in Yuba City allows (1) load per day (5) days a week and they're owned by the same people. Why is Life Center ran so differently when they're both owned by Hands of Hope.

Excellent staff very friendly and helpful.
If you are homeless and need assistance with housing or shelter start here they will give you or send you in the right direction.
If they seem ruff around the edges remember that they are there for us and want the best for the people but sometimes they need to enforce their policies and it seems rude but it's not because of their own policy and how they are expected to run the facility! Thank you for all your help you do for us and me and my wife appreciate everything you do!

I love the Life center because it was the light house when i was homeless in the dark. You can shower and wash your clothes, also beds upstairs as a shelter but limited. I used it as my mailing address and also look for housing there same as I did. Staff is wonderful non-judgmental of your situation.
