This is a friendly, low-key gym. Pool is great on these hot summer days. The staff is awesome and it's never very crowded. I'm so excited for the pedestrian bike overpass to be finished over University Ave so I can get to this gym much more easily from Palo Alto!

We couldn't be happier with the Thursday basketball sessions at the East Palo Alto Family YMCA! The incredible coach is both knowledgeable and encouraging.The program is well-structured and focuses on skill development while keeping the kids engaged and having fun. Our kids are learning, growing, and loving every minute of it. The coach is fantastic and the sessions are top-notch. Highly recommend! Looking forward to more sessions like this.

Had a wonderful experience with the Y. The facility was great and the manager was excellent. His name is Delayzio. He helped me make a workout plan, assisted me in my personal business and set a daily schedule. Everything I needed was at this Facility, also to help me in life, my priorities, and my daily life.

The staff is always friendly and attentive, making sure that everyone feels welcome and comfortable. And the gym itself is always clean, which is really important when you're working out. They have a pool and a basketball court, so there's something for everyone who wants to get their heart pumping. The gym manager, Jose, is really friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or provide assistance when needed. He really goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone is having a great experience. Overall, YMCA East Palo Alto is a great choice for anyone who wants to stay in shape and enjoy a supportive, welcoming environment while doing so. Highly recommended!

It may not be a fancy gym, but the EPA Y has everything you need in addition to a fantastic staff and super-friendly community. As a relatively novice gym-goer, I've felt welcomed and encouraged.

It's simple, straight-forward, very family-oriented-- not glitzy or fancy. I love that! The staff are incredibly friendly. The whole place is about serving people, especially families. The advertisements and other literature promote fitness as good common-sense health, rather than appealing to people's vanity. That's wonderful! And it's the one fitness gym I can afford!
