NC Leagal Aide does not answer th we ir phones. I have called 9 times now, over a 3 week period, we verytime being put on hold from 45 to over 70 minutes, including time when they were supposedly at lunch.
I simply need to know how I go about appealing "the automatic decision that I've lost, my Medicare and Disability; and Work ticket (? Whatever that Is) because I turned 66 in June. I was not informed until August 9, 202, way later thanthe date that I lost my service So what is the point in having NC Legal Aide if you can never get through to speak to anyone.
I have wasted half of my appeal time time trying a get one of NC Legal lawyers on the phone.
If "volunteers " / on staff layers can't answer the phone then the Legal Aides office should have an option of the caller leaving their name, DOB, Phone number and very description of problem.
Try it, it cannot hurt!!!!!!
